As a matter of interest Navy, if a householder caught you and asked you to remove the poo bag, would you?

There are not enough poo bins for people

you might find they are called toilets

GrinGrin well said

The2Ateam · 23/09/2016 21:37

Navy I would see from the footage who was dumping their dogshit in my bin, and ask them not to do it, ever, again. My bins are in my front garden, behind a gate. I consider that my private property for a start. Take your dogshit home with you, or don't have a dog is very much my opinion.

It's horrible to put in someone else's bin and whose job do they think it is to get the bags off the trees. Unbelievable! If you have a dog it's your responsibility to take its shit home.

The2Ateam · 23/09/2016 22:23

Whoever it is. Hmm

MoonStar07 · 23/09/2016 22:30

I don't know who it is as if I knew i would ask them not too!

Sorry, but I don't see the big deal here with all the awful stuff going on in the world at the moment. Surely better it goes in a bin rather than chucked over your hedge into your garden where your family might step in it? I know many people who chuck it into the first available bin- public or private. I really don't see the problem. Now, as for people that let their dogs crap on my driveway or along paths near playgrounds etc- that's a bit more of an issue imho!

Ubertasha2 · 23/09/2016 23:02

You detest dogs because of their poo? Really? You poo as well- does anyone detest you for it? Every human and animal has to poo!!

PinkSwimGoggles · 23/09/2016 23:03

I detest dog owners/handlers who shouldn't have a dog because they are too lazy to care properly for it.

Ubertasha2 · 23/09/2016 23:05

My last message was to the person who said they detested dogs for pooing. Have had a glass of plonk (or two), and don't know how to delete it and add to that person's message. Hahaha!!

Ubertasha2 · 23/09/2016 23:09

Seriously, does anyone get worked up about this rubbish? Pathetic! Dogs poo, responsible owners pick up the poop and put it in the nearest bin- who cares if it's your bin? Get a life!! I find it more offensive when I see stinking nappies in a bin- anywhere- that are not covered. That is gross!!

BarbaraofSeville · 23/09/2016 23:12

I'd probably rather they put it in the landfill bin than leave it to step on, although obviously recycling bin is wrong. But I can't get my head round people who care about how clean their bin is or whether it smells. It's a fucking bin.

I have litter trays for fostered kittens for the first time in years, and yes, having a bin full of litter and shit is not nice, but it's a fucking bin. If you don't put your head in and take a big sniff, you don't notice whether it smells or not.

And so what if it does, there seems to be an awful lot of moaning about perfectly natural smells on here. Don't whatever you do go to the countryside. There sheep, cows and pigs shit all over the place especially including on public footpaths and no-one cleans it up, it's everywhere, they even spread rotten shit all over the fields at certain times of year and that reeks.

PinkSwimGoggles · 23/09/2016 23:12

yes I do get worked up about lazy arses who can't be bothered to take their rubbish to their own bin.
we have bin locks now. also stops foxes and ravens getting in them and making a mess.

The2Ateam · 23/09/2016 23:20

Seriously, if I wanted dog shit in my bin, or any where near me I would buy a dog. I don't and that is why I haven't brought a flipping dog.

Ubertasha2 · 23/09/2016 23:35

Love this thread- it is so fucking funny. So glad that it is a jokey one- it couldn't possibly be serious, so thanks girls for making our evening. Xx

Thissideof40 · 23/09/2016 23:36

YANBU. It's fucking rank!

We recently had someone drop their dog shit in front of OH's van. For weeks OH was finding a dog shit bag in front of his van before going out in the mornings and then we caught the culprit red handed. It was a teenage boy who would take his dog for a walk before school who we had suspected and one day OH saw him walking towards the van and caught him dropping the bag. He tried to deny at first but when we threatened to report him so he'd end up with a huge fine from the council he soon apologised. He's never done it since.

Mumsnet hysteria at its best

WaitrosePigeon · 24/09/2016 09:37

we have bin locks now

That is so sad, but funny at the same time!

Maiyakat · 24/09/2016 11:22

I had this, put it in the empty bin before I brought it in. I didn't notice it was in there. The weight of 2 weeks worth of rubbish on top meant the bag split and the contents was all over the bottom of the bin. I'm too short to reach the bottom of a wheelie bin to clean it, so it just stank to high heaven for a long time. There was a public litter bin about 10 yards from where mine was.

JacquesHammer · 24/09/2016 11:25

I know many people who chuck it into the first available bin- public or private. I really don't see the problem.

I already said the problem is our waste collectors will not collect bins with loose dog poo bags at the top. So I put my bin out on bin day with my rubbish in a black bin liner. Lazy dog walker lobs a poo bag in, my bin doesn't get emptied. THAT is the problem.

And given the OP has already said it was in her recycling bin I think thats also a problem don't you?

HerFaceIsAMapOfTheWorld · 24/09/2016 12:08

people throw their takeaways or fruit in my bin then it is surrounded by flies, because I have unhygienic neighbours I dont bother clean it anymore since they wont, I am thankfully moving soon as well then they can keep their fly infested bins

Catam · 24/09/2016 12:35

Slightly different problem where I live - neighbours hoking through our bins & often tipping them out to look for (presumably) sellable items - instantly solved by no longer bagging the cat litter.
