So I am watching The Big Bang Theory as you do and Howard is happy because he "gets to have sex with a catholic school girl". This made me think, how is this deemed acceptable? How is it deemed socially acceptable to want to have sex with school girls?

It's easy enough to buy slutty school girl outfits and its openly talked about as a fetish but surely it shouldn't be a fetish or a fantasy? It isn't far off paedophilia in my opinion. Am I wrong?

I sort of see what yoy mean but as pp said, I think it is more likes to fullfilling a fantasy they had when they first came into their own sexuality. As for BUT while I love it I recently realised it is terrible for such comments. Never picked up on it till I watch a few seasons in a row when ill. Howard prays of girls and is always making inappropriate comments to Penny. Then in the episode where she finally stands up for her self and calls him out on it Leonard makes her feel guilty and she ends up apologizing to Howard!! I was not impressed.
