Just started speaking to someone on tinder. Everything was going well until he called me babes. AIBU to end it here or should I give him a chance?!

It's an indicator that he doesn't know or speak to many women in real life, otherwise he'd know that sort of shit is undesirable and seen as a bit slimy.

My DH called me babes after our first date and I told him to NEVER call me that again.. He listened and we are celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary next week.
Don't bin him off just yet :)

I got sweetcheeks about a month into the relationship I'm in. I issued an Official Warning so now he only calls me that when he's trying to make me laugh or has had a few drinks

Babes isn't that bad if all else seems alright..?

My now husband called me babe once many years ago. I told him never to again actually got to say 'don't call me babe' Pamela Anderson style and he didn't. His family say babe to each other makes me want to vom. I think don't rule him out just yet.

I take it as a sign that they don't know my name or that he has so many women on the go its easier just to call them a generic name

Knew a guy that called me and everyone else my darling I said oh I'm YOUR darling am I? He calls me by my name now Grin

I blocked a guy as he kept calling me that. Can't bear it. And it can also mean he's got a few women on the go and calls them all that because he can't remember their names...
