sorry to seem slow but there are all kinds of situations where Maui is the answer and I have never seen any suggestion why!

OP posts:

Ah Maui. The whole point of the thread (apart from Maui boasting) was that the bride was wondering if her family and friends didn't like her fiance, as that was the only reason she could think of that they all didn't want to spend £thousands to come to the wedding!
It was fun.

EdmundCleverClogs · 14/09/2016 16:33

Oh, wasn't she cross with her friend as we? Something about a ridiculous hen night (wasn't it a cruise or some shait?).

Danglyweed · 14/09/2016 16:35

Didnt her friends dd 'wreck' her house too?

TheEmmaDilemma · 14/09/2016 16:36

"Because Maui" from MN Towers was fabulous.

WhatTimeIsItCuckoo · 14/09/2016 16:45

She also said that she could 'reveal' that her and her partner had finally decided on their choice of sofa Grin

BeMorePanda · 14/09/2016 17:04

Its a pity we can't have a special category for preserving the super funny troll threads.

There was one last year about the woman who's husband was unfaithful and everyone was very supportive until it came to pass that he wanted to shag the OW on his wifes wedding dress at which point it started to unravel. The wife had a Lovely Friend everyone then referred to as LF - it was all very Jilly Cooper.

Hilarious.

BeMorePanda · 14/09/2016 17:05

ah the expensive crackers :)

ShebaShimmyShake · 14/09/2016 17:11

I know who you're talking about but I never understood the Frozen thing or why it was funny. She had a business where she dressed up as Princess Anna and sang at kids' parties....what did I miss about that?

dailyarsewipe · 14/09/2016 17:12

It's such a shame that these threads get deleted. MNHQ ought to leave them to run and run IMHO.

OlennasWimple · 14/09/2016 17:14

I loved the artisanal crackers Grin

PortiaCastis · 14/09/2016 17:18

Marble table was funny.
"Which marble table should we get" Grin
Very amusing poster who knew that we knew she was a erm very nice woman

MadHattersWineParty · 14/09/2016 17:18

Pippa always had children of altering ages too.

There was one where the little girl was a 'bitch' because she'd drawn in lipstick (Chanel) all over the OP's Brand New White Mulberry Bag.

Was funny with posters pointing out Mulberry don't make while bags and Pippa with Real Anna Hair going 'well it's beige actually'ConfusedGrin

It wasn't up for long though.

PaulAnkaTheDog · 14/09/2016 17:20

I loved Maui lady. She was the same one who got ragey at her fiance for not waiting in for a table she ordered because she didn't want to. I think there was also a mention of how he should be willing because she was 'creating a home'. She was also very unimpressed with him for buying a toaster that didn't fit her vision for the kitchen.

She didn't beat Pippa the Very Important Business Lady though.

PaulAnkaTheDog · 14/09/2016 17:21

Pippa was a different person to Maui. Pippa was hysterical!

RJnomore1 · 14/09/2016 17:22

There nothing funny about an Anna tribute act it was the repeated references to her Very Successful Entertainment Business which tipped it into comedy.

RJnomore1 · 14/09/2016 17:22

I agreed with Maui lady about the toaster! Who wants a toaster that doesn't match!

MadHattersWineParty · 14/09/2016 17:24

What does the toaster have to match?Confused

PaulAnkaTheDog · 14/09/2016 17:25

And everyone fancied Pippa's partner.

jobrum · 14/09/2016 17:26

I do miss Maui woman. And whoever it was that lived in a mahoosive house in Kensington or somewhere and struggled with the school run (wanted a nanny for it?) but actually came off as really pleasant and lonely. Was she real? I always wonder if that was an entertaining troll or not.

wasonthelist · 14/09/2016 17:27

Who wants a toaster that doesn't match!

I do.

WildwestWind · 14/09/2016 17:29

Oh I wish I could read the Pippa thread, it sounds hilarious.

PaulAnkaTheDog · 14/09/2016 17:29

Some of Pips threads are still around. Here's a taster...

Find it very amusing when someone asks me 'so what do you do?' as I could be here all day listing everything... events, characters, nanny, model, dance, recruit..... Sleep.... Do it all again Lol

I should just say "portfolio career" or carry around my CV with me everywhere when asked!

RJnomore1 · 14/09/2016 17:29

The toaster has to match the kitchen obviously

Queenbean · 14/09/2016 17:30

I loved Maui women

There's a poster who posted about having £1000 to spend on a "highly decadent" spa weekend which was very funny too

Ohflippinheck · 14/09/2016 17:30

Wasn't Pippa the only one who thought it was acceptible for the dinner party host to ask the guest to buy 80 quid's worth of shopping on the way over?
Because Pippa's friends all drink lashings and lashings of prosecco but they're too cool to care who pays for it.
I do miss Pippa.
