I am currently in a coffee shop with my napping 5 month old and everything is so fucking loud. Coffee machine, plates banging, people having the nerve to talk

Other things in this vein I get unreasonably pissed off by: DH sneezing loudly and motorbikes going past.

What things are you unreasonable about?

People who shove the front end of their car out into the road so you have to stop, and then they wave 'thank you'.

I didn't LET you go, you shoved your car out in front of me! Angry

SapphireSeptember · 31/08/2016 11:26

passthewineplz The bench thing, I was sitting on one that was like three different seats joined together and I was in the middle and had my bag next to me. This oldish couple came over and asked if they could sit down so I moved my bag. It was only after they were still stood there that I realised they wanted me to move. Now, they could have sat either side of me, wouldn't have bothered me, what did bother me was being forced to move while juggling two bags and a hot chocolate! Wish I hadn't, they saw me struggling not to spill my drink everywhere and didn't offer to help. And then I nearly fell off the end of the bench when I did move. Need to be firmer.

I sneeze really loudly, haha!

Going on to websites and being asked to review it after 30 seconds, or asked to subscribe. No, fuck off! I already get enough crap in my inbox!

Caipora · 31/08/2016 11:26

People

Some days I wonder why I mothered people, married people, work with people, have to share the earth with people....

Other days I'm good Grin

deathtoheadlice · 31/08/2016 11:27

oh and people who stop right in the middle of a passageway - doorway, top of escalator, exit or entry to something - to check their phone/map/chat. just get out of the way! aaaaah. this thread's like scratching an itch.

kaitlinktm · 31/08/2016 11:27

Why the fucking fuck do men have to sneeze so fucking loudly
^^ This!

My Dad does it and one of my sons - there's just no need for it and it REALLY startles me and makes me grumpy.

when I'm home along though I do tend to see how loudly I can sneeze, but never where anyone could hear Grin

thissismyusername · 31/08/2016 11:40

oh the pubs/restaurants around here that have tables and chairs and A board on the pavement which leaves me (and more importantly those with buggies and wheelchairs) a tiny space having to stop/queue/ask people to move in order to pass.

MilkyMamma · 31/08/2016 11:53

Bad manners and ignorance, please and thank you isn't hard.
People not using their indicators.
People eating loudly, or eating with their mouths full.
DH dipping biscuits in his tea and the drip noise they make when he draws them out of the liquid.
People turning up to your house early for an arrangement. PISS OFF I'M STILL IN MY PANTS!
People who stand and talk blocking doorways/supermarket aisle's/paths.
The In-laws!

Niggit · 31/08/2016 11:58

Definitely with you on the loud sneezing thing! gamerchick, very onomatopoeic Grin

People who pull out in front of me and then proceed to drive slowly and panic at every corner, when the road was empty behind me...

DH clattering dishes in the kitchen. Does he have to be so LOUD??

People who sit at the opposite end of the vet's waiting room from me when I'm sitting there with one of my snakes safely contained in a bag going, "Ooh, I hope that's not what I think it is...it won't get out, will it?...horrible things...don't bring it near me..." It really pisses me off. It might be a snake, but it's still a much-loved pet - maybe I should say, "Eurgh, that's not a CAT in that box, is it? Can't stand the things - don't bring it near me...", and see how they like it. Angry

Just going to find a paper bag to breathe into.

LemonScentedStickyBat · 31/08/2016 12:02

I hate being asked for feedback and never leave reviews. I also hate it when I want to buy something and there are no reviews.

I hate it when people put perfectly reasonable grievances on these threads.

I am very unreasonable.

hels18 · 31/08/2016 12:13

People eating stinky food on public transport - especially oranges, bananas, burgers, chips. Makes me nauseous!

Men drinking beer on trains on the journey home as it stinks and they belch.

People who tap really loudly on their laptops on the train for the whole world to hear them work.

People that call their entire phone book on the train home then give them a life update very loudly for all to hear.

Sniffers. Get a bloody tissue.

People walking straight out in front of you and then glaring when you fail to stop in time and walk into them.

My neighbours accessing my garden through the bin gate and picking blackberries from my garden.

My elderly neighbours hanging out their y-fronts in their garden.

People who don't indicate.

People who park way too close and I can't get back into the drivers seat (pregnant struggles!).

Strangers that find it acceptable to congratulate me on my pregnancy and then say 'oo, was it planned' or 'did it take you a long time to conceive'..

Van drivers taking up 3 permit spaces in my road.

Bad drivers parking very badly and wasting parking spaces in my road.

People in general. I'm easily irritated!

This was therapeutic Smile

hels18 · 31/08/2016 12:14

Haha - didn't realise that I moaned about so many things! All pretty unreasonable!

MillieMoodle · 31/08/2016 12:17

DH blowing his nose. He sort of honks. And it goes on and on and on.

Windy weather. I cannot stand it and it makes me extremely grumpy. The weather is usually at it windiest when I've had my hair done and/or am wearing lip gloss so I end up with a mouthful of sticky hair.

The people over the road opening their back door. Their house is sort of sideways on to ours and they open their back door and stand in the garden having a fag. All I can see over their garden wall is the open door and the top part of their heads. It irritates the crap out of me. That plus their bloody dogs who jump up at the wall and bark at me every time I park my car. I swear the dogs will jump over the wall one day and eat me.

Angry
Rozdeek · 31/08/2016 12:18

Also on my list: hot weather

VoldysGoneMouldy · 31/08/2016 12:25

People (my freaking neighbours) hoovering at ridiculous times of the day and night. Was 2fuckingam the other day. Logically, it is their house, they can hoover when they like. But it drives me around the absolute bend.

People enjoying this heat. It's horrible, I hate it, and seeing people happy about another hot day pisses me off.

Party bags kids come home with from parties full of tat. They are infuriating. Full of meaningless crap that does nothing but get in the way until it's thrown. And having to smile when you say thank you when you receive one.

Other people being loud in places when I'm trying to relax in peace and quiet.

Packs of students travelling in herds and getting in the way EVERYWHERE.

Pengweng · 31/08/2016 13:07

I got really annoyed the other day when I went to the library to study as the DTs are too loud when I try and work from home and some one was sat in my seat! He was only reading a newspaper too so I had to sit round the other side of the carousel thingy and felt all weird and back to front. I left sooner than i would have otherwise too. And was so cross I forgot to pick up my reservations on the way out so had nothing to take with me to read on our camping trip. Angry

Pengweng · 31/08/2016 13:13

My husband scraping the living fucking daylights out of his yoghurt pot! If he is that hungry then he needs to just lick the fucking pot.

He also has this habit of playing with his beard when it gets too long. Makes me want to cut his hands off.

ohmygodyouguys · 31/08/2016 13:16

If I'm waiting to cross a road and a kind driver stops and waves me across. For some reason I'd rather he just went on his way and I'd cross after he was gone. I do wave a thank you but this does annoy me and I can't explain why!!

WhooooAmI24601 · 31/08/2016 13:22

DS1 has begun cramming so much food into his mouth he almost chokes at mealtimes, just so he can finish quickly and get back to whatever it was he was doing before. It is completely irrational but I hate it and feel like I want to throttle him. It's as though we've come full circle from toddler years shovelling food in with his hands to nice, polite manners for a year or two and now we're savages.

I also hate when his mates come round and eat with their mouths open. On tv the other night someone put chewing gum in their mouth and ate it loudly so DH turned the volume up just to make me go batshit. It's quite odd, really, being so enraged by noises like that.

I go out shopping once a week with a friend and we borrow mobility scooters from Shopmobiity.

People who meander slowly from side to side on the pavement making it impossible to pass until I get bored and shout 'EXCUSE ME PLEASE' and they jump out of their skins and move.

People who walk four abreast, allowing no-one else to pass.

Shops that have a step at the door - it doesn't matter if its only three inches, it's too high for the scooter to drive over.

Shops who place boxes of crap in any empty space which means I have no way of navigating through. Their loss.

Loud sneezers - a friend sneezed in the car once and it was so loud I thought it had burst my eardrum, and I'm hard of hearing.

People who allow their bloody dogs to bark all day.

Of what the hell, scratch all the above the people who really piss me off are:

People

Bonywasawarriorwayayix · 31/08/2016 16:46

"Did you forget something" reminders when I've been window shopping on the Internet.

People who start to get on the train before I've got off.

The sodding hedge outside our new house which is too tall for me to prune. I've ended up giving it a Mohican, so will have to pay someone to finish it.

I agree with you ohmy. I'd rather cross at my own pace.
