I am currently in a coffee shop with my napping 5 month old and everything is so fucking loud. Coffee machine, plates banging, people having the nerve to talk

Other things in this vein I get unreasonably pissed off by: DH sneezing loudly and motorbikes going past.

What things are you unreasonable about?

Lawnmowers!

We have recently moved house into an area where we all have lawns and gardens as opposed to our old area. Every day someone is bloody mowing their grass or using some electric thing to tend to their trees and bushes. Aaargh.

CakeAndChocolate · 31/08/2016 10:54

Roz my DH sneezes and blows his nose so loudly it's like a fog horn going off. I've been in the garden on the phone to my dad before and DH has sneezed at the front of the house (inside) and my dad has heard it. It's ridiculous.

LiviaDrusillaAugusta · 31/08/2016 11:00

People who take babies into coffee shops Grin

diddl · 31/08/2016 11:02

Other people using my locker at the swimming pool.

How can they not know what time I'll be there wanting to use it??

LifeInJeneral · 31/08/2016 11:04

People chewing too loudly. Or breathing too loudly for that matter

FelicityLemon · 31/08/2016 11:04

YY to all the slow walkers and pavement blockers. Also those who stop dead at the tops of escalators or just after ticket barriers on the tube. I can cope with tourists as long as they move at a proper London pace.

passthewineplz · 31/08/2016 11:05

I get the rage when:

People who pull out in front of me and then drive like a snail! 🐌

Traffic - when I need to be somewhere on time.

People taking ages using the cash machine.

People sitting down next to me in a cafe or a park and not asking me if it's ok if they sit there. I especially get the range when they literally take over the bench or table so that I have to move. It's so bloody rude!

Van drivers and big car owners who always seem to park next to my small car. It pisses me off as it's difficult reversing out of a parking space as I can't see for the bloody great big thing parked next to me!

People who slurp their hot drinks.

Spitting in the street. It's bloody disgusting!

People who blow their nose really loud.

People who don't flush the toilet in public loos.

Phew! And breath! 😁

WorraLiberty · 31/08/2016 11:08

Buying one item online and being begged for three different kinds of feedback.

"Rate the product and leave a review"

"Rate the delivery driver"

"Rate the fucking packaging!"

Grrrrrrrrr!! Angry

Tumtitum · 31/08/2016 11:13

Mopeds when baby is napping.
Ambulances and police cars when baby is napping.
Any noise when baby is napping!!
Irrational jealousy that your baby will nap in a coffee shop ;)

GeorgiePeachie · 31/08/2016 11:14

People who travel at rush hour and do not rush. Come on peeps we've all got places to be!

MeAndMy3LovelyBoys · 31/08/2016 11:16

People walking too fast behind me.
People walking too slow in front of me
(Depends on which position I am in Grin)

When people get in my way near the school gates (I realise I probably get in other people's way too but still...)

Not wanting to say hello and make small talk with one of the mums at school because she cut my hair and didn't do a good job 😬

Rozdeek · 31/08/2016 11:17

Haha livia I have nowhere else to go!!!

OP posts:
jimbob1 · 31/08/2016 11:18

Slow drivers - you don't need to turn the corner at 5mph, get the hell out of my way!!!
Tractors on small country lanes- driving next to the field! (I know it may not be their field but it still pisses me off).
Loud chewing.
High pitched voices.
The girl behind the bar in our local who has the most patronising voice!

I'm irrationally annoyed by a little council car park in my village. Someone has put a gate in the fence in front of one of the spaces (so they can put their car in their back yard presumably). They've plastered "do not park here" "you will be clamped" type signs on the gate and painted DO NOT PARK in the space itself. This has never affected me one jot but I'm tempted to start a crusade about it as no-one ever parks there and it's a legitimate parking space. This shouldn't annoy me right?

Rozdeek · 31/08/2016 11:18

tum don't be too jealous, he will only nap with the snooze shade on and the white noise machine.

Yes yes yes to mopeds and sirens.

Rozdeek · 31/08/2016 11:19

Many of these things are very reasonable!!

OP posts:
MeAndMy3LovelyBoys · 31/08/2016 11:20

When I can't cross the road because there are too many cars and I'm just stood there muttering "FFS" under my breath waiting for the cars to piss off. Grin

gamerchick · 31/08/2016 11:20

Heh in with you on the sneezing thing. The husband does 3 different ones in quick succession. It's a WAHOOO, AHHTOO then a quieter SNeeek. Then the Haaa after. I want to feed him antihistamines but it's not manly apparently.

trafalgargal · 31/08/2016 11:20

People who stop dead walking along inside tube stations. Oh and in the same location people who stand on the walking side of the escalator.

On the other hand I will usually stop if I have time to help a confused and lost looking tourist in London looking blankly at a map so I really don't hate all tourists just the ones standing in the wrong places .

MeAndMy3LovelyBoys · 31/08/2016 11:21

Or if there is a gap then another car comes around the bend. Angry
Naughty drivers driving their cars!!

Rozdeek · 31/08/2016 11:22

I also get really fucked off if there are loads of cars when I'm trying to cross

loud motorbikes: they should be banned in urban areas. and they should be subject to better speed checks. they zoom past us at about 60mph in a 30 zone.
dh eating with his mouth open, other food-related noises- blech.
and the fact that cyclists have the lowest priority! i'm so sick of closed cycle lanes, always having loooooong waits at signals with NO ONE coming from ANYWHERE, unsafe routes shared with buses or lorries, having to go through long annoying one-way systems (or use the pavement), no signal timings set for cyclists, signs saying 'shared highway. pedestrian priority' beside empty, unused roads closed for no apparent reason. drives me crazy. we'd all have cleaner air and better streets if everyone who could feasibly cycle was comfortable enough to do it. why make it so annoying and unsafe when simple changes would correct a lot of this?
