People on here will prob say it's nothin special, but I love a nandos!

Half chicken (medium spice), with spicy rice and piri piri chips. Yum!

Floggingmolly · 27/08/2016 16:20

It's just chicken...

Andrewofgg · 27/08/2016 16:21

Some like it hot!

VladmirsPoutine · 27/08/2016 16:21

Are you unreasonable to have never eaten at a Nando's? Really?

sevensome · 27/08/2016 16:22

It is just chicken lol but thanks lottie - for your suggestions of good things off the menu - I was wondering how broad their menu range was...

WordGetsAround · 27/08/2016 16:23

I'd keep it that way if I were you.

angeldiver · 27/08/2016 16:23

No, you're not missing anything.
One visit was enough to know it's shite.

sevensome · 27/08/2016 16:23

Suppose I meant it flippantly Vladmirs - lol - it's just as a chain it gets so much publicity - remember the fuss a few years ago - cheeky Nandos/Bantersaurus Rex etc etc ?!

OP posts:
Dragonglass · 27/08/2016 16:25

I have been once. It was just a rather unexciting chicken and chips, nothing special. So no you're not missing anything.

RaspberryOverload · 27/08/2016 16:26

Well, I've never been to a Nandos, simply because the nearest is in the city about 20-25 miles away.

kali110 · 27/08/2016 16:26

I love nandos.
Medium spice chicken in pita with halloumi, chips with peri peri salt, rice and macho peas.
Plus loads of their sauce

Eatthecake · 27/08/2016 16:26

Your not missing much OP

It's just chicken, I have been once and never been back it really was nothing to rave about

amy85 · 27/08/2016 16:27

I went for the first time today...it was really nice but I don't understand all the hype about it

PurpleDaisies · 27/08/2016 16:28

I love Nandos too. The sides in particular are great-halloumi, peri peri chips and macho peas are my favourites. Those and a wing platter to share with dh and I'm a happy camper.

Floggingmolly · 27/08/2016 16:29

I never understood the "cheeky" Nandos thing Confused.

If eating chicken and chips makes you feel you're living on the edge; you really need to go a damn site further than Nandos of an evening...

stouensbay · 27/08/2016 16:32

I think it's a bit like a posh(ish) KFC. It's ok but the whole self ordering with waitress service is a bit confusing. Is it a restaurant or a fast food outlet?

Sidge · 27/08/2016 16:32

I've been once.

I was distinctly underwhelmed.

Sparklesilverglitter · 27/08/2016 16:32

It's just chicken and chips, nothing really thrilling.

I went with work when one opened across from us and the younger members of the team raved about it but I wouldn't go again.

If you want to try it get yourself a good quality chicken and a nandos sauce from the supermarket, will probably be nicer

SpuriouserAndSpuriouser · 27/08/2016 16:33

I love nandos! I am actually vegetarian, but all their veggie food is yummy. And it's pretty cheap and they serve wine, which is enough for me.

Sparklesilverglitter · 27/08/2016 16:33

flogging 😂

Oysterbabe · 27/08/2016 16:35

It's fine. That's about all I can say about it.

Madbengalmum · 27/08/2016 16:35

Flogging, couldnt have put it better myself. Definately, NOT, livin the dream!

Smartleatherbag · 27/08/2016 16:36

I've never been to one on account of living in the middle of nowhere. Our local town (40 miles away) is getting one soon so I'm sure we'll pop in to try it out.

Libitina · 27/08/2016 16:37

I've been once. I was distinctly underwhelmed.

Same here. Expensive KFC imo

HoneyDragon · 27/08/2016 16:37

What's an incomplete Nandos virgin then?
