Better 9 is better than A* then 8 is A and so on I think, but it doesn't apply to all subjects yet. As far as dd knows her economics is on the subject list but Maths isn't. The HoY said at subject evening he was confused! The Gov website is also confusing but as from next year GCSE will all be 9-1. All Michael Goves ideas !
