Madly in love with my DH, who was my boyfriend then.

Still the same.

tass1960 · 12/08/2016 21:58

Married 5 years - no children - had just moved into this house and was in the south of France on a 3 week holiday (only 3 weeks because we went by bus from Glasgow) - was great fun though ... I can remember it like it was yesterday - however can only vaguely remember was actually did happen yesterday !!

LarkDescending · 12/08/2016 21:59

Ahhh! I was in Italy, probably Venice or Verona on this date, a few days short of my 18th birthday. My best friend and I were having a blissful time Interrailing, but we were just about to head home where our respective mothers would be clutching envelopes containing our A level results.

gingerboy1912 · 12/08/2016 22:00

Nearly 16 and had just come back from my last family caravan holiday and it was awful. Sad

Rosieposy4 · 12/08/2016 22:03

Summer holidays, in the middle of uni. No doubt i was riding horses and helping with harvest, almost certainly by driving the grain trailers.

dementedma · 12/08/2016 22:06

22 and at uni and had just met my boyfriend. 29 years married this month.
I was also about 4 stone lighter! Confused

MumsKnitter · 12/08/2016 22:10

I was six weeks into a marriage that I already knew was a dreadful mistake. I'd realised it was only a matter of time before he would hit me. I remember sitting in the garden in the rain and wishing I could just melt away to nothing.

He hit me a few months later in December, a few days before Christmas, and I managed to walk away and start over.

Nearlyhadenough · 12/08/2016 22:11

That's old age for you ;-)

CatherineVelindre · 24/12/2019 18:48

Wishing I could have stayed at university for Christmas to study in peace instead of having to join in with family festivities. (My memory of those holidays is the reason I will never force my student DC to do some of the family stuff my DM expected of me. They're adults. They have their own priorities. They can choose.)

OvertiredandConfused · 24/12/2019 19:00

19 and visiting my grandmother in hospital. She died on 4th January. My other grandmother died on Christmas Day seven years earlier. Despite that I still love Christmas!

countrygirl99 · 24/12/2019 19:04

Looking forward to DS1 first Christmas
