No-one (including Noone) minds HCTs who declare themselves openly to be so. Then we are free to distrust their advice when they post as concerned grandmothers, annoyed schoolteachers etc

I don't know when HCT originated on MN, toad but it has become a byword, or phrase, for the need to maintain a healthy scepticism about everything posters say about themselves.
