My dc think I am. They won't even sit in the room when it's on. They say urgh mum you and your bad TV shows and bugger off to their bedrooms. They hate everybody loves Raymond as well.

I'm getting my coffee and croissants ready for my favourite hour in the morning. Grin I love working term time and having enough mornings to waste watching crap TV.

It was excellent. I love the start of the Valentine's Day episode when Niles is getting ready for his date. And the one with the dead seal. And the one where the brothers pretend to have tickets to a must see play and then have to front it out to the lead actor.

It went down hill a bit when Daphne and Niles got together. Her character changed so much she was practically unrecognisable at the end.

I love Frasier! I have the boxset and watch it on repeat (although not so much now as my 2yo daughter doesn't like it Grin ). I even listen to a podcast about it...

mogloveseggs · 02/08/2016 09:22

Frasier is brilliant! Definitely the one where Niles thinks he is high is my favourite, but I love it all. And oh to have that apartment!

InNeedOfABatcave3 · 02/08/2016 09:27

Captain were you just shouting shut up shut up whilst laughing as well.?

Ive missed the very last episode twice it gone round the loop back to start and i missed it again . I didnt watch it in the 90s love it now Niles is hilarious

megletthesecond · 02/08/2016 09:33

What channel, I could watch it Friday when I'm not at work? I used to love Fraiser. The kids might even let me watch it if they realise 'sideshow bob' is in it.

Birdsgottafly · 02/08/2016 09:35

I've been off work seriously ill, for nearly a year and ive re-watched the whole serious.

I like that it's so funny/clever without it resorting to any form of bigotry, including sexism.

I've found other shows have pissed me off.

Frasier, Monkey Life and Tipping Point has kept me going.

MargotLovedTom · 02/08/2016 09:36

Frasier is fabulous. It's like watching old friends when you put it in, and you don't care if you've seen it a hundred times before. I love Frasier and Ros'a voices. Still wish they'd got together at the end and lived happily ever after.

MargotLovedTom · 02/08/2016 09:36

Ros's

InNeedOfABatcave3 · 02/08/2016 09:37

It's on Channel 4 during the week at 8:30.

They also have it some weekends but the morning line has taken over atm.

I love Frasier. I want a box set so I can keep them all. Just the theme music never fails to cheer me up. It's weird how dated it looks now though.

MargotLovedTom · 02/08/2016 09:38

Put it on, not in!

hidingwithwine · 02/08/2016 09:39

But Everyone Loves Raymond is pretty pants - I do like his parents in it though. Quite like the reruns of 3rd Rock that have been on again though

WannaBe · 02/08/2016 09:39

Love it. Agree though that it went downhill when Niles and Dafney got together.

InNeedOfABatcave3 · 02/08/2016 09:40

I watched the last episode a while ago. It was good but I also wish ros and fraiser had finally got together.

Remember the one where they were drinking champagne in their dressing gowns sharing a room until the station manager turned up and needed to share with them. I was so upset I really wanted them to get it on.

Love Frasier! All the main characters are great, so funny! My favourite two quotes - Frasier: 'How can men possibly use sex to get what we want? Sex IS what we want!!!!'

Martin: ' You know the best thing about getting old? You may walk with a cane..but people still ask you to help them move!'

Frasier is a work of genius. The script is a joy, the brothers are exquisitely rude to each other, the ensemble cast and acting are pitch-perfect and the way it can glide between delicate comedy of manners and perfectly timed farce is peerless.

Remember the one where Niles has a 'sympathy baby' and carries a bag of flour round in a harness? He has a anxiety dream about it being kidnapped: 'They started sending me muffins in the mail.' Grin Grin Grin

Sorry for computer blip and double post.

InNeedOfABatcave3 · 02/08/2016 09:46

It's at the end before Niles tells fraiser he wants a baby but he doesn't want one enough which is actually really sweet.

HooseRice · 02/08/2016 09:48

It must be the most successful spin off ever

EllaHen · 02/08/2016 09:51

One of my favourites is when Niles and Frasier go to motor class and are rubbish so decide to be the class jokers.

I think that one has the line "Copernicus called and it turns out you aren't the centre of the universe."

I have used that line umpteen times in my life - bloody love it.Smile

MrsJayy · 02/08/2016 09:51
