to really really want someone to do something? (coffee shop related)

I am sitting in a very large branch of a well known coffee chain.

A youngish couple (maybe early 20s) have come in and sat at a table near me, which is as far away from the tills and the staff as you can get, and are sharing a Dominos pizza and drinking soft drinks that aren't from the coffee shop. Ie. they are here simply to use the table. They've got the pizza on the table between them, napkins and everything.

I'm finding it really annoying for some reason. And the smell of pizza is making me hungry.

Whilst acknowledging that this makes me sound like Mrs Angry from Tunbridge Wells, I wish someone would chuck them out.

You've clearly been a Mumsnetter for far too long Grin

bibbitybobbityyhat · 19/07/2016 18:11

You know the word I'm searching for Worra?

I reckon it might be "entitled" Grin

You could try going up to them Saying "I hope you've brought enough for everyone" while pointing at their pizza.

I think you'll have to storm over to their table and demand a slice of pizza for not 'telling' on them.
(probably best not to mention this thread Grin)

BreakfastAtSquiffanys · 19/07/2016 18:15

Bloody cheeky.

BillSykesDog · 19/07/2016 18:15

They probably work there and don't have an area to eat out back.

insancerre · 19/07/2016 18:15

Ring 101 and get it logged

BigDamnNCFail · 19/07/2016 18:16

I'm quite impressed by their cheek!

Maybe ask them very loudly if you can have a slice of their pizza? Either someone will hear and chuck them out or you'll get some pizza. Win, win.

bibbitybobbityyhat · 19/07/2016 18:25

Mr has just gone in to the attached supermarket and come back with a second round of Fantas.

I am actually a little bit shocked by this ShockGrin and I promise you I have had far from a sheltered life. People, eh. Never fail to surprise.

Gardencentregroupie · 19/07/2016 18:28

Also now I really fancy pizza but DH has us on a Dominos boycott

Go up to the till and say "I'd like a Domino's pizza please" and when they reply "ummm, we don't actually sell those here" you can say "well, how come THEY have one then" (in a really loud voice and whilst pointing)

ApocalypseNowt · 19/07/2016 18:59

Have a game of 'pizza' where you and your dh take turns to say 'pizza' getting progressively louder. Whoever's 'pizza' get them chucked out wins.

And the loser has to buy them pizza.

ApocalypseNowt · 19/07/2016 19:00

Just realised a really easy way to win that game would be to bellow "PIZZA" straight away. Do that OP.

Coffeethrowtrampbitch · 19/07/2016 19:02

Just walk past their table and steal a slice on your way.

What are they gonna do, tell the staff? Grin

Olddear · 19/07/2016 19:04

Speak to a solicitor. The first half hour is free.

ivykaty44 · 19/07/2016 19:05

Go up to the counter and order a pizza, when the staff say

We don't do pizza

Say well they are eating pizza so I'd like pizza Grin

FruStefanOla · 19/07/2016 19:09

Cheeky buggers.

Do you have a pizza wheel lurking in your handbag?! You could ask them if they'd like any help cutting their pizza!

talksensetome · 19/07/2016 19:12

Garden Why are you on a dominos boycott? I am on a personal crusade to boycott both asda and argos but couldnt handle life without dominos.

Beanzmeanzcoffee · 19/07/2016 19:15

A few months ago I went to the theatre with DH and during the interval the people in the row in front unearthed take-out pizzas from beneath their chairs. They'd obviously been for dinner and saved some for the play. I was torn between annoyance at their 'entitledness' (it stank) and annoyance that I'd never thought of it'

LostSight · 19/07/2016 19:15

I think you should have a spa day. That'll make you feel far mor relaxed.

dustarr73 · 19/07/2016 19:16

No op needs to cancel the cheque.Grin
