DH died when I was 36 weeks pregnant. DD2 is two today! (DD1 nearly 6). Since she was born I've got back to work nearly full time, learned to drive and done the London marathon in aid of CRUK. My daughters are happy and healthy and have the most amazing bond. I've made a ton of mistakes but right now I just want to be proud.

Gingersdohavesouls · 14/07/2016 19:41

grobagsforever You should be incredibly proud of yourself hun, not many people could do half of what you have accomplished in the past 2 years!
And the best part, your daughters will learn how to be strong, self-reliant women by watching their incredible mum get through one of the most devastating things someone can go through!

Happy birthday to your little one, I hope she had a great day ☺️ xxx

You are an example of strength, courage and persistence. Your girls are lucky to have you as her mum. And your DH would have been so proud of you.

HarlettOScara · 14/07/2016 20:32

Fucking hell. I'm proud of you and I don't even know you.

Raising kids is hard
Raising kids alone is very hard.
Raising kids alone when you're dealing with death of your loved one and father of Tahoe kids...unspeakably hard.

You rock.

Wishing all the very best for you and your girls. If they have even an ounce of your strength and determination, they will do very well in life Flowers

Brilliant Flowers Star You should be so bloody proud of yourself as I am sure DH would have been and your beautiful dds will be when the look back and see what you did for them and the memory of their father.

Grief is the hardest thing to live with and you are doing it and raising two little girls, all by yourself.

Happy birthday dd2
