I don't. But my definition of middle class is those that go to work but don't need to.

I am devoted to John Lewis. With the exception of prescription medication and cars, I think that JL and waitrose can supply you with most of the things that you need for a happy and full life Wink

That's quite correct N&W, it caters quite specifically to personal grooming.

I have never quite got to grips with the ubiquity of the department store.
I like traipsing around different shops for different items. Quite common proletariat behaviour I'll have you know!

I did however get a rather beautiful powder pink leather jacket finished with rose gold hardware from the Ted Baker concession at JL circa January 2014.

So even us WC types aren't completely immune I suppose Wink

I remember going to Swan & Edgar with my Grandma, and Simpsons. Upstairs at Fortnums is divine. Buying my grandad a cigar in Davidoffs ...... That was an age ago. Only Fortnums is still there and Davidoff I think. I'm so out of touch I don't really know the new posh. I like Basler and Reiss, Jigsaw and some local independent shops for eveningy/occasion stuff.
