to think Nicola Sturgeon should be tried for treason?

For continuing attempts to break up the UK?

Admittedly I don't know the law regarding treason exactly, but suspect she hasn't actually done anything illegal? But why is it ok to try to continuously break the country apart?

(Have namechanged as am expecting to get slaughtered)

seeing that my whole country voted to remain

No it didn't. Turnout was low, 67%. 38% of those voted leave. Yes the majority voted to remain but let's stop peddling the lie that the whole of Scotland voted remain when the actual figure is 1.6 milion out of 4 million eligible voters, hardly the entire country.

He job is to represent & govern Scotland not be concerned for the rest of the British Isles. Think England & Wales have made their bed .....

Don't like the woman and her minions at all, but she's not committing treason.

She would probably be doing so if she stood up and advocated a march on London and assassinating MPs and the Royal Family.

It's a democracy - funny how we're still being told to accept indyref outcome as democracy has spoken but if you voted to leave EU, only 38% population voted 🙄

I would like her to be prime minister of the whole country.

No you really wouldn't. Believe me.

How about a complete revamp of politicians? We could all join forces, create our own political party and actually listen to what the people of Scotland want. Because who's best placed to know what the people want if not the people themselves, not the politicians so far removed from ordinary life that they're left clueless and grasping at straws.

Maybe then we can all stop with the arguments and political grumbling.

lighthearted, obviously. I'd make a crap politician purely for the fact that I'd get apoplectic if another party came along with lies, there would be a very real bun fight, current buns and all.

Goblin why do you think the the First Monister should have concern for the rest of the British Isles?

Genuinely, I'm interested.

It's not her job. Her job is to represent and look after Scotland.

And it could be said that the majority of English and Welsh voters (and indeed the PM by allowing the referendum in the first place) didn't show much concern for either Scotland or perhaps particularly the peace process in Northern Ireland.

I can't get behind use of the R word. Even for Trump. Sorry.

Report

Apologies I would remove the R word if I was using it and just call him SLA 'spunk trumpet' because I don't agree with the R word either (I probably should've been a bit smarter)

No I appreciate that. Agree with sentiments minus the r word, though.

Nicola Sturgeon sure is fierce and the only MP I've seen deal with her effectively is Andrea Leadsom.

Andrea Leadsom for PM I think.

GoblinLittleOwl - as opposed to Leave who's concern for Scotland, and NI, or even the rest of Europe was startling?

Ink if you're saying that you want a PM who will bring the Scottish first minister, the person in charge of looking after the interests and welfare of Scotland, to heal then you can go and royally fuck yourself.

Quite frankly I'd rather stick with Nicola and go independent because the amount of English nastiness coming out of the woodwork towards the Scottish, yet again, since a second ref is on the table is disgusting.

One of these days England is going to find itself completely alone and isolated, it'll have driven away everyone who it depends on with hate and anger and spite.

I think she's great, and wish I could say the same about our bunch of self serving "leaders". They have all made a mess of this referendum. I can't believe we are leaving EU, and I hope Scotland does block the process. She's the only one with any sense.

Good grief Let - such fierce anger in that post! Calm down.

Hey - I for one, admire Nicola's strength - I wish we had someone like her. Andrea Leadsom is the only one I can think of.
