Yes I have voted, but I am sick and tired of the unrest, I'm aware there has been a lot of discontent for a long time but its now feeling toxic and I want it to be over one way or the other.

God, the Sunderland returning officer looks mortified

flippinada · 24/06/2016 00:22

I thought she sounded like she was struggling not to cry.

bakeoffcake · 24/06/2016 00:25

Maybe she was a bit nervous? I'd be worried I'd read the wrong numbers out!

flippinada · 24/06/2016 00:26

Yes, could be.

DailyMailEthicalFail · 24/06/2016 00:26

Well, she is supposed to be impartial so she's no business 'looking anything' really.

The pound has nose dived, apparantly

Careforadrink · 24/06/2016 00:27

My experience over the last few weeks bears no resemblance to the polls. Id say about 90% appear to be voting out. That was across social circles and ages. Im in the north east.

EatsShitAndLeaves · 24/06/2016 00:28

The pound will fluctuate all night I think.

Looking like it's going to be damn close based on these first few results.

TheManaha · 24/06/2016 00:30

When do we find out??

TheManaha · 24/06/2016 00:31

I couldn't even vote I'm pissed

SouperSal · 24/06/2016 00:33

Tomorrow morning, probably.

And I've just said very similar Eats

sparechange · 24/06/2016 00:33

The pound has fallen 6% in the last few minutes

flippinada · 24/06/2016 00:37

DailyMail I think it's fair to say I may be putting my own interpretation on it. No reflection on the returning officer.

I'd be on the cava so I would :))))

DailyMailEthicalFail · 24/06/2016 00:54

flippinada no, you are right, I also thought she looked like she was sucking on a bowl of lemons.

DailyMailEthicalFail · 24/06/2016 00:56

Hmm, Glasgow turnout only 55%. Good.

flippinada · 24/06/2016 00:59

What do you think that means DailyMail?

beetroot2 · 24/06/2016 01:01

Don't read a broadsheet, don't read the sun or the mirror. If I buy a paper which is very rare it's the daily mail. I take from it what I want.

DailyMailEthicalFail · 24/06/2016 01:01

re returning officer - I think she should look impartial however she feels.

if the Scottish vote is low then that will have less of an influence on whole UK result and may have an impact on 2nd IndyRef in Scotland.
