And that me and my kids should not have to pass it on the high street!! Ragin!

VenusRising · 09/06/2016 17:36

Well in that case, it should be made illegal.

Newes · 09/06/2016 17:37

Then no, you are definitely NBU.

LineyReborn · 09/06/2016 17:38

Apparently Trading Standards can do a public decency swoop.

MTPurse · 09/06/2016 17:39

I presume it is this op?

Oysterbabe · 09/06/2016 17:39

We're going to need to see this picture.

MTPurse · 09/06/2016 17:40

YANBU AT ALL btw. Are you in the states?

BillSykesDog · 09/06/2016 17:41

That's vile

OrangeSquashTallGlass · 09/06/2016 17:46

It took me ages to work out Mairy Hinge...

EveryoneElsie · 09/06/2016 17:47

Its tacky. Its so 70's its sad.

MyBreadIsEggy · 09/06/2016 17:50

Sorry but..... Mairy Hinge Grin

2nds · 09/06/2016 17:55

If that picture was posted on Facebook or somewhere it would go viral in a heartbeat lol.
I agree it looks like 70s tat. I can imagine that's the type of place that sells illegal fags and all sorts of under the counter crap.

Rightho · 09/06/2016 17:55

Yes but now 100s of people who would never have heard of Chuffer Whore have heard about it and their juices.

Knowingly provocative PR.

Interesting ethical question: is it better to ignore it and not give it the oxygen of publicity OR it is better to campaign for its/the names to be wiped from public view - which probably won't happen and will just publicise it more?

2nds · 09/06/2016 17:56

This should really go in the feminist section

KacieB · 09/06/2016 17:57

Why should it go into the feminist section? Confused

GonnaDoItAnyway · 09/06/2016 17:57

This?

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 09/06/2016 18:00

Do you live in Amsterdam?

dodobookends · 09/06/2016 18:02

Well really, what will the Parish Council have to say?!

bakeoffcake · 09/06/2016 18:03

Those posters are vile!

Balletgirlmum · 09/06/2016 18:07

They are horrible. YANBU. Children (boys & girls) shouldn't have to be subjected to this blatant objectification of women. (& I'm against censorship in general)

wannabehippyandcrazycatlover · 09/06/2016 18:09

Those posters are vile. Is it the 70s again?

clarrrp · 09/06/2016 18:12

*Down with that sort of thing.

Careful now*

Completely off topic but I have a lovely cross stitch of that scene on the wall in my hallway.

Welshmaenad · 09/06/2016 18:17

Oh, one of my local vape shops stocks those. I could write a massive diatribe of how its symptomatic of how male-oriented the vape scene is but I'm sleepy.

I went to the Vape Expo in Birmingham recently and there were 'Vape girls' wandering round in itsy bitsy shorts and bikini tops. I refuse to patronise any company that objectifies women that way.

SissySpacekAteMyHamster · 09/06/2016 18:22

Wondering who is going to change their username to Mairy Hinge first

NeverbuytheDailyMail · 09/06/2016 18:24

Dodo. We don't have a parish council where i live so prob not much. So how do you suggest i explain to my six year old son what the word whore means and why it has anything to do with e-cigarettes. Bit easier and to be sarky than to come up with something constrictive to say eh?

NeverbuytheDailyMail · 09/06/2016 18:26

Also keen to know why it should be moved to feminism?
