To wash my hair after going to the hairdressers

This isn't a TAAT honest.

I got my hair cut after work. The hairdresser washed, cut and styled it using heat spray, smoothing gunk and hair spray. It looks great.

I mentioned to DH that I'll need to wash it before bed. DH thinks it's daft to wash it as it has been washed and styled and would be still nice looking for tomorrow. I can't go to bed with product in my hair. It seems dirty.

Aibu? Am I weird? Do you wash your hair after going to the hairdresser?

Drop I was thinking the same thing, do you really wash you hair twice a day?

I wash mine every few days and only use salt spray. It looks better the second day.

I never come home with hair all down my neck or skin. I always leave it as long as possible after the hairdressers. Looks great for days!

I find that if I leave washing my hair a couple of days after it's been blowdried, it tends to be easier to style for weeks ahead, not just days. It's like the hair memory is cemented in or something!

(I should make it clear, I don't leave washing it for weeks! I'm not grebby! It's just that after I do wash it, it seems to return to its blow-dry shape better if it's been held in it for longer).

I am the same, I generally go to the hairdressers in the morning but I will always wash my hair later on before bed, I hate the smell of the products and have small cut hairs all over me. I use my special Tresemme deep cleansing shampoo that I only use when I have my hair cut, it leaves it lovely and cleansed.
