We have got TWO fucking bathrooms!

Main bathroom is used by me and DDs. En-suite mainly by H. Not exclusively. There is no law or family rule banning anyone from using any of the bathrooms.

We have TWO bathrooms. TWO.

So why in the name of all that is sane, reasonable, holy, unholy and right, does fucking stupid H just barge in to the fucking bedroom to use the en-suite one when I am in bed? Whether I am asleep or not.

WHY? Why would you do that?

He works stupid hours so is in bed at 8 on week nights. Perhaps I'll start banging in to the fucking bedroom loudly at 9 and use the fucking SECOND bathroom. Even if the first one isn't being used. Just because I can. And I am a stupid, thoughtless, uncaring, loud fucker.

The flaw with yours though Creased is that you'd have to clean the fucking bath afterwards, and blood is a bugger to shift as are chunks of body

I don't get people siding with the DH.

There are two empty bathrooms. Using one bathroom means waking up the OP. Using the other bathroom would mean the OP can stay sleeping and the DH can still have a shower/shit/bath/whatever.

On what planet is it acceptable behaviour to wake the OP to have said shower/shit/bath when there's a perfectly usable second bathroom down the hallway?

Our en suite is the bathroom I use. It has all my stuff in it. It's the bathroom I use! What's the bloody point of having an en suite if you aren't allowed to use it?

Or three, one ensuite, one family bathroom and one little WC maybe under the stairs (location negotiable though)

YANBU. Ridiculous to use an ensuite when the main one is free if someone is trying to sleep beside the ensuite. Sleep is as luxurious to me as cake these days so I personally declare HIBVU to interrupt your sleep.

People are funnily territorial about bathrooms (ie loos).
We have four bathrooms/shower rooms.
One is downstairs attached to DS2 study, so only used by him.
One is ensuite to me & DH bedroom - I use that (though not if DH asleep)
One is ensuite to DS1 bedroom - he uses that.
Other bathroom shared by DH & DS2.
No reason why anyone shouldn't use any, but we never do...

If he needed the loo then using the ensuite would be inconsiderate as loo roll and soap is in every bathroom but surely if you're showering or bathing all your stuff is in the ensuite so you'd have to go into the ensuite to get it waking you up anyway.
Mind you I sleep like the dead I'm pretty sure you could land a 747 next to me and I'd sleep through it.

We have an ensuite and a family bathroom but I still never expect DH to use the family bathroom even when I'm on nights I'm so am asleep when he gets up so as far as I'm concerned YABU. Try ear plugs.

That's true mrsguy in our house the downstairs loo is used by all, our ensuite is mine and DH, boys share an ensuite and the main bath is dd. It feels weird using someone else's bathroom.

We have three bathrooms, but only one with the DDs' toothbrushes etc in.

So which one does DS choose when he fancies a massive, lengthy poo, just before his sisters' bedtime, when they are bouncing off the walls and need to get to bed? Angry Drives me potty.

Op, I feel you. Incidentally, unlike others, I bloody love your anger, it's visceral and I think you express perfectly how I sometimes feel. It's the shits to be too angry to sleep. And it's the worst crime in the world to wake a sleeping human.

YADNBU, BUT - do tell him. It might seem insanely irritating to have to, and he might be thoughtless, but sometimes people really do need to be told the fucking obvious.

MrsGuy - so if you're downstairs and need the loo you go upstairs to your ensuite rather than use the downstairs toilet??? (assuming your bedroom is upstairs of course).

Waking somebody up pointlessly is downright rude. Sleep matter So! Presumably you all tiptoe around so that he is not disturbed when he goes to bed early. H is thoughtless! I would be very angry too. Hope you manage to get back to sleep and no blood is shed
