what do do about my life

Hi my partner and I have been together 10 yrs never been on holiday, away for a weekend together don't do anything together, (cinema, nights outs meals) we have two young kids and no support from our parents so cant do these things. I have the same routine everyday don't no what to do the only friend I have is moving away any ideas WHAT CAN WE DO?

We didn't haven't family support when our girls were little as at that time we lived hundreds of miles away from them all.
We had a good social life, we took turns hosting evenings together with other families, the children usually came or one parent looked after all the children.
We took the girls out to dinner or just for cake.
We went away to visit family and friends when we could fit it in.
We went out as a couple when we were feeling flush, usually a fellow parent would babysit but we down times paid a local teenager.

You both have to make an effort, you sound stuck in a rut and this won't change unless you make some changes. Money is a huge factor but even going out for a picnic one day for a change is something.
Our girls have grown up now, our youngest is at uni so neither of them live at home anymore. The best thing we did was maintain a social life while they were little, this has helped to ensure that we have a life now that they've moved out. We miss both girls but we are both busy and see friends on a regular basis.
