To hate it when people refer to dc as 'sexy'

Recently I went to a party and a guest posted a picture of their child with the hosts child along with some pictures of other kids including my dd on Facebook so I got tagged. Lots of this woman's family were talking about her boy as 'gorgeous' and 'so sexy'. Obviously this is none of my business what they write but it is not the first time I've seen this. I just think it's really inappropriate to describe a child as sexy. Does this annoy anyone else or AIBU?

YANBU! I thought it was a mumsnet myth until I overheard a mum at playgroup recently saying about her "sexy little girl" about her 3/4 yr old who was sitting right next to her at the time also. Just totally inappropriate.

Someone I went to school with wrote "my sexy little man" next to a picture of her little boy on facebook. Made me cringe, I hate it!

Yuck. It's like people referring to DS and his best friend (a girl) as "boyfriend and girlfriend" or saying they'd have beautiful babies. They're 2!

Glad it's not just me. Some are these stories are shocking. Also something else I find annoying is when people on Facebook put their name as for example sarahjacksmummyjones. It drives me mad!

Am I the only person who had never heard anyone refer to a child as "sexy"? the mind boggles!

I saw the title of this thread and thought DC referred to people calling David Cameron sexy. I mean it goes without saying, who wouldn't find the combination of paunch and sunburnt flabby man tits sexually alluring?

Shortly after this shot was taken Greenpeace tried to refloat him.
