He says it is common, and lots of people eat a full packet at once.

Do you, or could you, or would you like to?

Yes. Not frequently though. And depends on the biscuits / pack size. I wouldn't eat a whole pack of digestives. I have just eaten a pack of 8 wispa biscuits whilst wandering through town. I was channeling Rachel Green.
I am fat though Grin Biscuit

DarylDixonsDarlin · 14/05/2016 11:01

Depends on the size of the packet and how much I like the biscuits!

Chocolate fingers, jammie dodgers, the packs of 4 cookies from supermarket bakeries - I couldn't eat a whole packet myself in one sitting, but could easily do it over the course of a day.

Hobnobs/larger packs of regular biscuits - no definitely not.

And whoever said this I'd argue that the fig rolls have medicinal purpose though. if you meant the laxative effect, you're not wrong! GrinBlush I haven't eaten them since the last time, and I hadn't even eaten the full pack, only about 8! I was bf. Biscuits are perfect bf food unfortunately.

Clankboing · 14/05/2016 21:11

I couldn't manage more than 4 biscuits ever. Not even my very favourite. I'm shocked that people can manage it physically. I would hurt doing it! Saying that I can quite easily eat half a tub of Haagen Daas which i love but that's liquidy and manageable.

DecaffCoffeeAndRollupsPlease · 14/05/2016 21:43

Yes I could and do binge eat whole packets of biscuits.

harshbuttrue1980 · 14/05/2016 21:52

Not in one go as such, but over the course of a day. I just keep going back. Because I care about my health and waistline, I just can't have them in the flat :-(

spanky2 · 14/05/2016 22:03

I have done. It's binge eating. I'm ashamed of it. I eat biscuits to try to fill the void left by going no contact with abusive parents. Realising they don't love me and actively do things and say things to hurt me and my children. It's made me very fat which adds to the self loathing that therapy and huge amounts of antidepressants try to stop.
So judge away...

silvermantela · 14/05/2016 22:41

no

Think the most I've eaten is about four chocolate fingers and I LOVE those. Don't feel proud of myself for displaying great willpower though, just never fancy more than one or two biscuits/cake etc at a time.

WorraLiberty · 14/05/2016 22:46

No

I'm not entirely sure I know anyone who does, although it seems quite common on Mumsnet so maybe I do and I've just never noticed.

ShelaghTurner · 14/05/2016 23:00

A packet of Happy Faces with a cup of tea, yes easily. Don't think I could manage proper biscuits but I'm a greedy fat pig so anything is possible. I'll give it a whirl Grin

Ticktacktock · 14/05/2016 23:08

Golly Spanky, so sorry to hear that.

Big unjudgy hugs to you xxxx

See that makes me feel better about my lack of will power. It's not all my fault as I obviously haven't been born with that off button that some people seem to have. It's not difficult for them to say no.

I can easily eat a packet of chocolate hobnobs etc. I don't think I comfort eat. They just taste good. And yy to the poster who says that when you've only got a few left and could give up, you have to continue to get rid of the evidence that the packet existed in the first place.

MintyBojingles · 14/05/2016 23:14

No. DH could though.

maggiethemagpie · 14/05/2016 23:57

I have been known to. I have quite disordered eating/black and white thinking about food. Like the nursery rhyme about the girl with the curl - when she was good, she was very very good. But when she was bad she was horrid.

Iknownuffink · 15/05/2016 07:22

Only Cheddars, one is never enough. I have eaten two packets this year.

Hurryhurryhurry · 15/05/2016 07:37

spanky no ones judging

Eastpoint · 15/05/2016 07:42

No. I don't like biscuits

Terrifiedandregretful · 15/05/2016 08:16

No I wouldn't be able to. Could easily eat 4/5 packets of crisps though Blush

scarednoob · 15/05/2016 12:48

Biscuits - more than I should, but not a whole packet. as a fatty fat I also find the traffic lights helpful - I know full well what's in them and what I should and shouldn't have, but it's harder to ignore with the red proof in front of me!

Crisps on the other hand... Do they really think anyone eats 30g out of a big packet of delicious sea salt and balsamic vinegar kettle chips

IAmAPaleontologist · 15/05/2016 12:59

It has occurred. Those Borders dark chocolate covered gingers are amazing. But that's only a small packet.

Indantherene · 15/05/2016 13:47

Yes, I can and have.

(That would be why I'm 2 stone overweight)

postmanpatscat · 15/05/2016 13:53

No, but jaffa cakes have been known - you only get 12 so it doesn't count as a full packet.
