Perfectly acceptable as far as I'm concerned As long as it's not every day I say enjoy! I developed a real sweet tooth during pregnancy and was guilty of dunking chocolate biscuits in my morning cup of tea every now and then. I need to be pregnant again now so I have an excuse for an ice cream breakfast!

It's totally acceptable. Proteins, some sugar, deliciousness. Go for it.

If the pregnant person is a grown woman then she can surely make her own decisions about what she should and shouldn't be doing. It's not like she's rolling out of bed and taking a line of coke.

Ice cream for breakfast - entirely reasonable. Baileys ice cream is a bit bleugh, but each to their own.

FWIW, I don't think OP is the pregnant women referred to either first which is why I asked. The only person who gets a say in what pregnant person does with their own body is pregnant person. It would worry me if this was a DH or DP posting this.

One day between Christmas and New year (when all rules of normality are suspended) I gave my children leftover Christmas pudding with ice cream for breakfast.

Meh pregnant or not eat what you want but to be honest if you're growing a whole new person and you want to do that while shoving ice cream down your throat then I think you should do just that!

Well I had a Magnum for breakfast while walking to work one hot summers day. Why? Because I'm an adult and I could. People walking past looked very jealous.
