Calling troll

I see from MNHQ that its "never okay to call troll" from another thread this morning What does that mean? If a thread is plainly total bunkem, are we best to ignore rather than call it?

But did no-one else want to know how she was going to end the whole saga?

I thought that was a troll, I don't usually spot them but it was very obvious. What was the jump the shark moment? I was only up to waiting for the dh to come home and speak to the friend after he had been told to 'keep his woman in line'.

I'm not so keen on the common response nowadays to 10 or more pages of tripe being a MN Classic.

It's like the trotted out "National Treasure" label, it's becoming meaningless.

Posters on the Bridezilla thread was all for adding to MN Classics, and I was thinking What really??

And the MNHQ euphemistically saying trolls come along "from time to time" needs to be updated. Maybe 6 or 7 years ago, but not any more.

Maybe people are getting more attention seeking with their "Me time" "I'm so worth it" mentality

There's a wedding one going on at the moment that I don't believe for a second actually happened, but everyone else seems to!

I knew it but everyone seemed so into it that I thought I must be wrong. The whole white knight DH being all masterful and all the "ooh your DH is wonderful" comments. 🙄 puleeease!
