They have installed a 4ft high garden gnome on their roof looking directly into my kitchen...

We have a 6ft high privacy fence at the front of the house so it was quite a shock to see creepy McCreepy gnome as I was washing up!

AIBU to put my house up for sale immediately??

Seriously though, do we think it's a spy camera? A weird, subliminal warning of some sort?? Do I install a gnome on my side looking into their conservatory??

My NDN got 2 of these ghastly creatures for his 80th birthday. DD's bedroom overlooks their garden and ever since they appeared she's virtually moved in with her boyfriend as she's fucking terrified of them.

I saw these in Asda the other day and really enjoyed putting a serious face on and telling my ten year old we were getting one for the garden. The look of horror on her face was priceless...

I pass a house sometimes when walking the dog that has two of these monstrosities by the front door, one each side.

I find them quite fascinating, in a horrified way, and can't stop myself having a good stare every time I pass them.

Can't imagine why your neighbour has put one on the roof though, as surely they can't see it themselves while it's there. Maybe it just turned up at the house one day and they didn't know what else to do with it. Think you need to get yourself a higher fence. Very creepy.

I think you need to steal the gnome (hide it in your garage or something) and get all your friends and family to send your neighbour a postcard from 'Nobby the Gnome' whenever they go on holiday.

Personally loving the army of gnomes on my fence idea, may add a new one every week until we have enough to lob at creepy McCreepy gnome the knock the fecking thing over....
