To do a pregnancy test today

I'm 6 days late and have been TTC. Plus I've been feeling slightly ill.

DH wants me to wait till the weekend. My cycle has been erratic since a miscarriage last December and just thinks I should wait a bit longer.

But I want to know.

Is there a physical reason to wait longer or could I do one today?

Oh and my clear blue test was off when I had dd. That told me I would be due Christmas day! My scan came back to say I was due on the 17th. She was born on the 18th. She turned two December just gone. She was hilarious on Christmas as she was convinced it was her birthday again. Grin

Congratulations! Lovely news Flowers To be further on than you thought is a bonus too! There's something so magical about a new baby at Christmas, I think.

blueskyinmarch · 25/04/2016 16:00

Helgathehairy · 25/04/2016 16:25

It was supposed to be our first Christmas at home having everyone round to us. I think I might get a reprieve for one more year!!

Oh and I've put the test on top of a pack of wet wipes in a drawer and I'm going to ask DH to get me one!

So I asked DH to get me a pen from the drawer and it took him a second but he saw it and started grinning.

Provided all goes to plan it does mean we can't go to two weddings and a holiday we had planned (but hadn't booked thankfully)

Congratulations OP!

What a brilliant way to get out of a wedding! And go to a lovely hydro/spa type place near home instead of a holiday. Treat yourself to a pregnancy package. I have lasting memories of doing just that when v pregnant with #2. Grin
