To do a pregnancy test today

I'm 6 days late and have been TTC. Plus I've been feeling slightly ill.

DH wants me to wait till the weekend. My cycle has been erratic since a miscarriage last December and just thinks I should wait a bit longer.

But I want to know.

Is there a physical reason to wait longer or could I do one today?

Just looked at the due date calculator and hadn't realised it was going to be a Christmas baby!! 27th Dec approx. I'm the 29th and really didn't like it as a child.

I'm going to use this thread to get a bit excited because I know DH will be telling me to calm down and not get my hopes up because of my past.

ANYWAY we are booking this evening to go to Disney Orlando in 2017. I'm thinking we'll go ahead - best case senario the baby would be 10 months. We took DD to New York when she was 10 months and it was pretty easy. Am I crazy!
