AIBU?

Or do other people have THAT PERSON as well?

That Person who you irrationally dislike be they a celeb, someone you know, or a family member, the criteria being they are harmless and have done nothing to warrant your dislike of them except their very personality?

And you know that the fact you don't like them is really unreasonable but they make you absolutely seethe?

Or AIBU?

Robson Green, how could I forget the little arse!!
Elton John - totally agree, I think he would be an utter bitch in real life
Frank Skinner - totally agree, again I think he would be hateful in real life

Great thread!!

Sarah Harding. She was always laughing hysterically on The Jump and having just an amazing time with all these people who'll I'll call my best friends for life. You just know behind closed doors that facade drops to reveal a unhappy, bitter, hard-faced bitch. Stabs Cheryl voodoo doll with pins.

Haha yes Lorraine Kelly. I could not believe it when she got her own show. I believe my exact words were, 'What is that sweetie wifie doing on national tv?"

I agree with so many of these.

I know someone who used to work in the same building as Richard Osman, and he was not a nice person. Another one who save his niceness for screen time only.

I used to despise Sara Cox. Hated her. She ruined the radio for me. Now I really like her. I've turned my irrational dislike to Tess Daly.

I haven't read the whole thread yet but I was having an internal conversation with myself about just this at the gym.
There is a woman who I don't know that I dislike immensely Blush I've only been going to the gym a few months but every time I hear her voice it's like nails down a blackboard.
She appears to me to be so loud and obnoxious , I can hear her in the changing room when I'm leaving the pool.
Lots of stealth boasting, discussions about her dc - tests - after school homework club her fabulous weekend...
Maybe it's because my dc are past that stage now but I find her convo deeply irritating.
I think it might just be me though as she flits from person to person in the changing room being frightfully outgoing and popular for us all to see.

Maybe I need to have another word with myself Confused

A mum at my Dd's school who always laughs hysterically loud whenever any of her clonies make any sort of remark. I can hear her over the other side of the playground. Sadly I must be alone in feeling like this as she always has a huge circle of other mums stood around her lapping up everything she says. She never gives me the time of day though. Maybe it's my resting bitch face lol.

And Kate Hudson. She is not as attractive as she thinks she is, she makes mediocre movies and hops from one bloke to another. When she posted a pic of her bare bottom in an attempt to show her ex what he's missing (and putting me off my dinner), that was the final straw.

My DD cannot stand Ashley Roberts, Ant & Dec's sidekick. I can see where she's coming from though I don't encourage that sort of behaviour!!!

Robert Peston. His dragging out, pausing and unnatural emphasis give me the rage.

Apparently he had a really bad stammer and talks like that as a way to control it.

Just sayin! You can still hate him though.

Beauty totally unacceptable. Please tell me he doesn't still think it's an honour. Was the tattoo just left unfinished?

Have a few tv characters I can't abide either,

  1. Carrie Bradshaw, such a self centred try hard. Cannot fathom why women seem to love her.

  2. Sonia from EastEnders. I like Natalie Cassidy just fine, but not doormat, no self esteem Sonia.

and 3) Sarah-Louise Platt in Coronation Street. She has the kind of sulky face you'd never tire of punching.

For me it's a woman at work. She's one of those people who assumes her work is more important than your time; she plonks herself down uninvited and plays helpless, getting other people to do her work for her. I gave up encouraging her a long time ago, so she no longer wastes my time. Other people make time in their hectic schedule for her, every time. Everyone else, male and female seem to like her fine; it's just me obviously who 'misunderstands' her. Ha ha.

My partner's sister. I've never met her because she lives in Australia but she's a fitness freak and always posting Goals! Achieve! Just do it! shite, illustrated with pcs of her looking scrawny. She also likes posts which suggest she has some hideous right-wing you-brought-poverty-on-yourself ideas.

YY to all those who hate Katherine Jenkins, grrr, I have always disliked her then worked with Gethin Jones not long after they broke up. Now, he was sweet and very professional and discreet and didn't say anything about it but I am sure in my head she was an absolute bitch to him.

I also had a proper irrational hatred of a guy I used to work with, now a dislike would have been fine, he did talk down to me and (unintentionally) made my job more difficult but I hated him, my blood would boil at even the mention of his name and if we had to work together I would be seething. He came to me later on looking for work/ or for me to recommend him, I just couldn't do it. It makes me cross just thinking about him. Angry

I do want to stand up for Andi Peters and Aled Jones though, both great IRL.

outspot, he was bitterly disappointed, but he's the kind of guy who feels terrible criticising anyone. He said she isn't very nice either, very offhand - funnily enough, I can believe that. She has a lot of hangers on around her and the shop atmosphere was awful.

The tattoo wasn't the best. Rushed, and yeah, unfinished. Very patchy. I felt awful for him. He's paying someone here to finish it off and rework it. Hardly a money's worth experience!
