That Person who you irrationally dislike be they a celeb, someone you know, or a family member, the criteria being they are harmless and have done nothing to warrant your dislike of them except their very personality?

And you know that the fact you don't like them is really unreasonable but they make you absolutely seethe?

Or AIBU?

See my sis can't stand Alex Wotserface for her allegedly OTT Welshieness. My sister is in fact exactly like Alex Wotserface only Welshier.

Anne63 · 25/04/2016 17:50

Dare I say this, Davina McCall, there's just too much of her on the telly!

spirallinganxiety · 25/04/2016 17:50

Even when she tried to sell the idea of spending hours and £££ to make a homemade Christmas bauble for an 'inexpensive gift' I just thought 'Aw Kirsty, you lemon', in an affectionate way smile

Maybe I just love any 'celeb' with a bigger bum than me...

Grin I like her as well. H huffs and puffs disapprovingly when she comes on the TV but I think she is great if a little out of touch.

WindPowerRanger · 25/04/2016 17:57

Actually, I'd like to list any female celebrity who has used having children to opine on women/feminism/motherhood/choices/parenting/still being sexy for the husband/work breaks/losing the weight/anything from the safety of their high 7 figure incomes as though they have got it all figured out for all the rest of us. I always want the interviewer to ask how much paid and unpaid maternity leave the celeb's female staff get, but it never happens.

Millionaires do not get to tell us worker drones how we ought to be doing family life.

EverySongbirdSays · 25/04/2016 18:03

Catching up on the thread but I too hated Michaela Strachan as a child, and also as a child to the poster who said about people who make your flesh creep having secrets, when I was a child Stuart Hall was a local news presenter and I used to ask my Mum to turn it off because I didn't like that man.

YY to Ricky Gervais particularly his approach to other peoples beliefs, and his apparent belief he has a right to mock disabled people with certain epithets because he doesn't really mean it Hmm

Also gotta know what happened with Corden and the lovely Patrick Stew? And what did Obama say about the Special Olympics? Both these scandals have passed me by!!!!!!!!!

And oh god YES to those who turn their nose up at your child having the Nerf gun verboten to their PFB. Tossers.

Victoria Coren just comes across as a bossy ex head girl who probably bullied everyone. Makes it worse that DP likes her and thinks I must be actually jealous . He always remarks on how intelligent she is

Michael McIntyre. He makes me want to commit murder
Gwyneth & Chris even though they are now Gwyneth & Chris apart, but I loved him pre Gwynnie

JessTitchener · 25/04/2016 18:44

When DD1 was a baby, Nicole Kidman was on the front cover of a magazine with the quote "being a single mum is so hard" emblazoned on it.

At the time I was very young, had been abandoned by DD's father, had no money and was struggling with PND.

Fairly or unfairly, Ms Kidman immediately went on my shit list for that.

I used to work with a woman who I can only describe as being inexplicably smug.

She was always so pleased with herself and I could never work out why.
Someone described her as being industrious once, she didn't know what that meant and kicked off big time assuming it was an insult.

And she had a joint Facebook account with her husband.

imwithspud · 25/04/2016 19:16

Kristen Stewart, she has a face I want to punch!

Yay4may · 25/04/2016 19:24

Fiona Bruce. Need I say more?

ijustwannadance · 25/04/2016 19:25

One from my DP, George Clark. He hates him. Says it's his smug smiley face and his voice.

One more from me, Kristen Stewart. Miserable bitch who acts like a sulky teenager.

Forgetmenotblue · 25/04/2016 19:30

I think Victoria Coren had a miserable time at school and was bullied a lot, rather than head girl bossy type. I think she is very shy and a bit awkward.

I can't look at Evan Davies (dragon's den) and I think Eddie Mair (R4) is very smug and loves his own (feeble) jokes.

Paddingtonthebear · 25/04/2016 19:39

Keira Knightley
Mariah Carey
Robbie Williams
Liam Gallagher
Really not keen on Ricky Gervais either.
Oh yeah, and Marianne Hobbs and Cerys Matthews on 6 music. Awful.

And from DH:

James Nesbitt

CaptainCrunch · 25/04/2016 19:53

I despise nigella Lawson. All that faux sexy crap with her laboured single entendres when she's cooking something that looks utterly minging.

Even worse when she tries to be all poetic, I think she's probably a very sad frustrated person who's desperately trying to pretend she's got it all, I just wish she'd fuck off my tellybox.

alltoomuchrightnow · 25/04/2016 19:54

Mumford & Sons
Fearne Cotton but I can't really put into words why

BeautyGoesToBenidorm · 25/04/2016 20:07

Yes to James Nesbitt! Another face that sends me into a fury - his eyebrows are intensely irritating.

LumpsMum · 25/04/2016 20:21

Mel Gibson. The bigot. Fly into a rage when I see him in anything. HAVE to change channels so I don't have a heart attack.
DP just dissolves into fits of laughter as everytime old Mel's on telly he knows I'll launch into an epic rant about how much and why I hate him so.

And the Kardashians. All. Of. Them.

Grin
StuckMelia · 25/04/2016 20:41

I have one and she annoys me every time we see each other on gatherings. What I do is, I always avoid her, to the point that I'm not attending parties if I know that she's there.

GrumpyMummy123 · 25/04/2016 20:42

Daniel Radcliffe.

Loved Harry Potter, but see him on a talk show and I get an urge to punch him.

Eveninties · 25/04/2016 20:44

YY to Ricky Gervais particularly his approach to other peoples beliefs, and his apparent belief he has a right to mock disabled people with certain epithets because he doesn't really mean it

My feelings exactly everysongbird. I actually used to like him until I saw a stand up show and I realised he was a smarmy twat.

flippinada · 25/04/2016 20:57

Ricky Gervais strikes me as the kind of person who laughs uproariously at his own jokes.

Alisvolatpropiis · 25/04/2016 20:58

Ricky Gervais, as himself but particularly as David Brent, reminds me of my brother in law.

Who I detest.

Tribblewithoutacause · 25/04/2016 21:11

Oh yes Ricky Gervais, hateful creature. He's so up himself, I'm surprised he can breathe properly.

mojojojo838 · 25/04/2016 21:13

Oh God, I am an awful human being. Danny Dyer. Dennis Wise. Rita Ora. Bryan McFadden. Frankie Boyle. Amanda Holden. Duffy - her voice makes me want to smash my head through a window. Christine Bleakley or whatever her name is. I'd punch Nick Knowles without a second's hesitation. Charlie Nicholas from Soccer Saturday. Darren Day. I'll stop now, but I could go on. I don't really like many people in real life either... Handcart for mojojojo...

flippinada · 25/04/2016 21:18

I can't read Danny Dyer's name without hearing Mark Kermode's highly amusing impression of him.
