To think DP is a filthy bastard!

We have a separate shower room from the bathroom.

I never shower, morning bath instead. DC bath. DP is the only one who uses the shower. To be fair to him he does a manual job and comes home minging so the first thing he does is shower when he comes home.

I've just been in the shower room for the first time in about 6 months. Oh my fucking god it is FILTHY. Like properly bloody minging. I think there's stuff growing in the shower. Black mould, hair, pubes Envy

I've just called him to ask WTF and he laughed and said yeah I wouldn't look in the cupboard if I were you. I've just looked and it's full of empty toiletries that he's chucked in there.

I told him he could fuck off if he thinks I'm cleaning it and said meh I don't really mind it Hmm

I'm closing the bloody door and not going back in AIBU?!

Although, WHY doesn't your DH have basic self care skills? - probably because magical cleaning fairies mum cleaned everything and he never had to think about it?

I never use our en-suite either. Well, unless you can count on me checking the back of my hair, so I understand where you're coming from.

DH wipes things down so I usually only ever need to maintain it. So if there's something that needs cleaning in there then I just grab something and go over it. Or DH will do the same in another room.

It does sound like your DH is an extreme example though, OP.

That's the conclusion I came up with.

Surely he had to throw things in the bin at some point. Or he may just throw his wrappers/empties on the floor.
