Feeling let down by my bridesmaid

I got married last month,and am I right to feel sad and angry and a tiny bit upset that my bridesmaid never bought me a wedding card or gift ?

(I would have sent a card as well as.. but…) maybe if she said all the nice cardey things in person she doesn't see a reason to repeat it in a card?

Personally I think attending something like a birthday party or a wedding without at least a card is rude. Whether you are in the "bridal party" or not.

Has she form for this sort of thing? I dont know anyone who would do this, so Id be tempted to mention. Just a 'such a such said theyd given a card but we dont have it, and I cant see yours either, I wonder if some got lost?'

Rude, maybe. But not writing out a card for a wedding you attend us rude too.

Is this what your friendship is usually like? Unequal? Do you not feel that she genuinely cares for you?

unusual, most guests least get a card and/or pressie , but you would have thought esp a bm as asssume she is your bf

I'm going to have to look up whether my bm gave us a present (I still have the hand written list from when we opened them). I hope she didn't, because she gave us enough in time etc not to mention the fact that I stayed at hers the night before and got ready there.

I'd be very surprised if she hadn't got us a card though. She also wrote beautifully in our guest book. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect her written thoughts on the day as a memento, but being more than faintly disappointed would be going a bit far.
