Lanark2 · 22/03/2016 20:27

If it's visitors its the drawing room(the one without a telly).

If it's evening its supper otlr a late supper (cookies and milk or bread soaked in hot milk. I sometimes make loose porridge with milk and cocoa powder)

Luckily because I have no telly anywhere, its all the drawing room. The entry stairs are 'hall' and the flat as a whole is 'the house'

TheBreastmilksOnMe · 22/03/2016 20:29

Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner
Living-room
Sofa
Dessert

Lanark2 · 22/03/2016 20:30

'Come through to the lounge' is OK in a fake posh nice but dim banker way.

Tea is a cup of tea, but could be with a cake and slightly arranged. Coffee is buttsex

SeamstressfromTreacleMineRoad · 22/03/2016 20:31

Living room
Breakfast - dinner - tea
Pudding
Settee

(Black Country)

Gatehouse77 · 22/03/2016 20:31

Living room
Breakfast, lunch, supper
Toilet or loo
Pudding
Sofa

However, I got out for dinner...

Dawndonnaagain · 22/03/2016 20:32

Dessert refers to fruit only. Otherwise it's pudding.
It's also sitting room, not lounge or living room.

Lanark2 · 22/03/2016 20:33

'Thirsty' in posh friends is 'beer?' With 30 smth professionals its 'have you hydrated enough, electrolytes, possible diabetes, modern air conditioning is drying, etc

amysmummy12345 · 22/03/2016 20:34

So where the fuck is the drawing room and parlour?! Confused

juniperdingleberries · 22/03/2016 20:34

It's actually breakfast lunch and then tea
You go out for dinner or to someone else's house. Tea is always at home 😊

Pipbin · 22/03/2016 20:35

When I was growing up it was:

'The other room' - we only had two rooms downstairs and the 'other room' was only used for a couple of hours after supper.

Breakfast
Lunch
Supper

Now it's
Breakfast
Lunch
Dinner

Living room or front room.

Dawndonnaagain · 22/03/2016 20:37

Breakfast, lunch, tea, dinner, supper.
Tea is a cup of tea and a sandwich/cake/both to keep you going until dinner.

juniperdingleberries · 22/03/2016 20:37

This thread has made this pop into my head-
"The coats are in the cloakroom, and well you know it. Down on the mezzanine floor. Near the lunchenette, next to the breakfast bar!"

I hope someone else gets it because it's making me giggle...

Orda1 · 22/03/2016 20:38

Front room
Breakfast - lunch/dinner - tea
Dessert
Settee

Orda1 · 22/03/2016 20:40

I call my own front room living room or sitting room but ever ever lounge!

BunnyTyler · 22/03/2016 20:43

Living room.

Dinner is hot evening meal, tea is cold evening meal.

Pudding is hot, dessert is cold.

Lunch is never dinner.

Grin
witsender · 22/03/2016 20:43
