to want a snow leopard?

Grin

I really want one, and DH said no. And I think it's him BU not me. It could really keep my feet warm in bed, but DH said there wouldn't be any room for him in bed with a snow leopard. But there's a lovely sofa he can sleep on.

So, who is BU? Me or DH?

CreepingDogFart · 20/03/2016 20:52

girlwithagruffalotattoo · 20/03/2016 20:56

I want a sugar glider, a wolf, a raccoon and an orangutan. If I had all this things then everything would be perfect

kazza1234 · 20/03/2016 20:57

I've had a polar bear for six years - but I'm still waiting for him to come and visit. I also have a koala - well he actually belongs to my class at school, at the moment he is repopulating an area in Australia which lost all their koalas in a forest fire - he is an alpha koala

coffeeinaredmug · 20/03/2016 20:58

I want a penguin and i have a spare bath it could live in, plus i live in Scotland so its always freezing.

DH has said no.

It’s not fair, I waannnttt one.

limitedperiodonly · 20/03/2016 21:00

I wanted a kinkajoo or an ocelot - they were in my book on Wildlife of South America. There were books in the same series about wildlife from every continent but my parents decided to stop at one.

ShutUpSirius · 20/03/2016 21:04

So far I want.. A teething lion cub, a purring leopard getting his head scratched, teddy the porcupine, the list goes on

RedOnHerHedd · 20/03/2016 21:14

You all sound like such rational women, why are our husbands treating us like this!?

I'd also love a baby bear cub. It:d be like having a real live teddy bear.

RedOnHerHedd · 20/03/2016 21:17

Aww, I bet a real life teddy bear would be so snuggly!

In a strange coincidence most of those animals are available in crochet form here...

Just trying to decide which one to make.

GerundTheBehemoth · 20/03/2016 21:21

There's probably not enough room here for a big cat so I might go for a baby spoon-billed sandpiper.

After watching The Story Of Cats on ITV, I want a rusty spotted cat, with a Pallas cat as backup.

londonrach · 20/03/2016 21:23

The meerkats are mine!!!!

MrsFring · 20/03/2016 21:25

I have her. She lets me stroke her nose.

Look up tree kangaroo on Google. If we're playing Top Trumps I'll win hands down

MilkTwoSugarsThanks · 20/03/2016 21:30

I kind of have a snow leopard - WWF adoption and about 48 cuddly snow leopard toys, but it's not quite the same.
They have the most beautiful tails in the world.

That Pallas Cat really was phenomenally cute too, and I think I'd like a Canadian Lynx. And a Jaguar. And a Siberian Tiger.

I'll shut up now.

RedOnHerHedd · 20/03/2016 21:32

Purpledaisies I've just bought Edwards Menagerie book of crochet patterns for £11.99 on EBay, they're gorgeous, and there's over 40 patterns, I can't wait to buy the right colour wool to make some.

I want a Savanna cat.

PurpleDaisies · 20/03/2016 21:34

I've got the Edward's menagerie book and been to the alpaca farm. I've got alpaca wool from their alpacas to make a seamus the alpaca. I believe the word my pupils would use for that is "meta". Grin

It's a really lovely book and I've got my eye on the bird one too.

HelsinkiLights · 20/03/2016 21:36

I really really really want a sheep. Apart from looking so cuddly they would be excellent at keeping the grass short.
I'd also love to have a tiger, a leopard, a giraffe, a lemur, a penguin, a dolphin, a seal & a kangaroo (could help carry my shopping for me.)
I don't want much do I?

RedOnHerHedd · 20/03/2016 21:36

That Alpaca wool is expensive, but I bet they're gorgeous when they're made up.
