This! Just this!
I hate the term full time mummy but I am aghast at this popping up on my feed!

I'm going to be a SAHM in a few months. Already got one child and am expecting a twin double whammy so childcare would wipe out any wages.

It's not very nice, but I do think it refers to a type. And I can't work myself up too much about that type getting a bit of stick, because they're normally the first to give it to WOHM for being too 'selfish' to stay at home.

copperpipes · 24/02/2016 20:57

whoever posts that is absolutely thick as muck.

i know plenty of sahm who dont get a penny of the tax payers money - due to their partners earning over 60k so they dont even get child benefit!

whoever posted that can't even be bothered to think about it properly.

zeezeek · 24/02/2016 21:36

For those who say that these things are designed by childless people - don't you think that is being judgemental about a section of society, whilst complaining that you are being judged?

StealthPolarBear · 24/02/2016 21:46

You should reply "being a wanker is not a hobby...it's a way of life"

lazyarse123 · 24/02/2016 22:07

COWGIRL couldn't agree more, i especially hate the "if you love somebody shite", and Missing every relative who's ever died. We all have these feelings but don't feel the need to tell the whole world. Sorry one of my favourite rants.

LifeofI · 24/02/2016 22:30

Some sahm work at home like my friend or their partner takes care of the money side, is a silly post tbh and ignorant.

LifeofI · 24/02/2016 22:40

Wow she defriended u just because you dare to say something about her stupid post, what an arse.

Peaceandloveeveryone · 24/02/2016 23:22

Grin at some people taking 'mummy money' seriously

fvboyle · 25/02/2016 11:05

I'm a Daddy. I will tell you that being a parent of either gender is a profession, whether you work or don't. My wife and I used to be foster carers and we both worked (as it happens) but it was still regarded as a profession. Well, when we became parents I didn't notice much of a change. Actually I do have another profession, I'm a psychotherapist. The similarities are too many to go into here. Like many here, I wonder who is this ignorant person who could make such a specious statement?

Peaceandloveeveryone · 25/02/2016 12:11

The man that posted it is very ignorant, has racist and disablist posts all over his Facebook. He is also really thick.

tbtc20 · 25/02/2016 12:15

peace Is he David Cameron?

UterusUterusGhali · 25/02/2016 12:39

A friend of mine (a sahm herself) posted this as a joke.

I assumed it was a spoof too tbh. I mean, they don't have any kids in the pic!

hmcAsWas · 25/02/2016 13:29

Yes I had a look at his profile Peaceandlove - he's horrible (and sadly, a father to two children who will no doubt be influenced by him)

Gowgirl · 25/02/2016 13:32

I had a look at his profile too.....vile little man!

The expression "full-time mummy" really annoys me anyway! I don't stop being a mum just because I work.

Peaceandloveeveryone · 25/02/2016 15:37

Grin at David Cameron.
