How will you police the membership of your new site to ensure only people of your calibre join OP? Assuming it's not about a need for confidentiality but a need to weed out posters who aren't up to muster. What types are you looking for to join the exodus?

Maybe members of splinter groups (and I'd love to see Arks's proof of these 'members') are popping onto the thread to have a go at the OP because it's a cuntish thread with no other purpose than to say 'I'm thinking of setting up a secret group that only some people are allowed in'. And she hasn't been back, possibly because people weren't jumping to agree with her and want in.

There's nothing wrong with splinter groups, there must be loads on Facebook alone. What is wrong is 'selective membership'.

I'm boggling slightly about the appeal of some kind of 'non PC' cosy group where the privileged few can 'say it like it is' and indulge their delightfully 'just being honest' racist, classist, sexist, over privileged, snobbish, and general nose turned up ness at 'people not like us', probably comprising of those yucky disabled, fat or poor people ...
