I know he is despised on MN. Today his voice is broken and he is a parody... But yesterday, back in 1965, AIBU to love him then?

He had what we call round these parts a " bawface", I.e. a roundish, ball-like face. Too soft for my liking. That wouldn't matter of course, if he wasn't a total dick.

George Harrison. PM always looked slimy to me.

He's always looked a bit womanly to me.

YANBU although I prefer Ringo. I have a theory that Paul will be the next to die as so far they have died in my reverse order of preference. Ringo was my favourite followed by Paul, George and then John. I fancied Ringo and Paul, George I didn't fancy but is ok looking and John I just couldn't stand. Didn't like the look of him and he always came across as an arrogant wanker.

It's always struck me that gravity seems to work more intensely on Macca's face than on the rest of his body

I heard him on the radio the other day and it really hit home how old he is. He sounded like an old man whose false teeth don't fit properly.

But, then again YANBU OP. I had a crush on John and Paul in my youth, even though John was long gone. And agree with other posters, Lennon was a bit of an arse, but I loved his sense of humour (and The Beatles music obvs).

I think it'll be a sad day when we lose Macca.

Yuk no OP! He is and always was hideous. And even if you thought he was half way passable, that thought would be dispelled as soon as he opened his mouth - his accent is hideous!

He was alright looking, but George was a fox.

I know Macca's a bit of a knob but what a songwriter.

I didn't rate any of them really but PM probably the least worst.

But you have reminded me I haven't had a look at the Abbey Road crossing cam for a while so off to do that....

None of them were exactly good looking, were they?

You had to wait til the 80s for proper good looking bands. Grin

They were attractive in a way . PM should stop dying his hair a strange colour.

No one is being unreasonable to think another person is fit. It'd be unreasonable to expect other people to agree though.

George would have been my Beatle I think, he was the most handsome one (this is what I'd say if held at gunpoint and forced to choose my favourite Beatle anyway).

Paul seemed very much with out sex appeal or attraction, possibly he appealed to girls who dreamed relationship of just handholding and smiling at each other. Grin

Oh crap!!! Just realised that will come across as a bitchy dig at the op!!! Not meant to be, just that imo Paul McCarthy is definitely not attractive!!

Report
Mag314 · 13/02/2016 11:05

I disagree. He was never sexy. He always looked weird and nerdy even when he was young.

I agree with moln, maybe he appealed to girls who just wanted to hold hands with a famous singer.

Of course yanbu Paul was cute and lovely. But George was the most beautiful imo. Whenever I see old footage of the Beatles, I get such a warm feeling. They were utterly fantastic as a band. 'In my life 'was my walking down the aisle song.

Ynbu to perve over him if he floats your boat but there is nothing about him that I find remotely attractive then or now.

His head shaking thing when he sang always bugged me. He looked like one of those nodding dogs.

I met him once at a memorial service for Desmond Wilcox which I helped organise. Heather whatit swanned in and started demanding they sat up with the family as they were obviously so important, Paul who sort of trailed in behind her, to his credit, actually pulled her back and they just sat where there were seats. This redeemed him a little in my eyes but the obviously dyed hair and awful dandruff didn't do him any favours.

Paul was the best looking but I really liked Ringo. I remember you could buy lucky bags with badges in them and I was really happy that mine had an ' I love Ringo' one. (I was only about ten though).
I had a friend who said she was asked out on a date by George Harrison but her brother told him to get lost...

He wasn't horrendous looking but his thought that it would be OK to set fire to someone's home because he was only there to get laid and she made them sleep in the bath would put me off, even if it was cheap Scandinavian timber.

Then again I might be getting real life mixed up again.

I have always found it quite baffling that people used to fancy The Beatles - they were all a bit ugly IMHO. Which would have been fine if they'd had any kind of sexiness thing going on, but again, they all seemed really wooden to me. Confused
