Ds 4 just got a little playmobil school bus, with flashing lights and he loves it. I've spent some time last night googling my old toys. People are asking for £100 for a mint condition Sindy doll!

My friend used to have a beautiful playmobil Victorian mansion, and I remember spending hours playing with it. I always liked to be the maid for some reason.

The Sindy horse is less than £10 on ebay too.

AIBU for going all gooey over toys, and I need to get a grip? Seeing the pictures online was like looking at old friends.

Yep, I had Polly pockets and glo worms too. Toys did used to be better didn't they? They were certainly more solid and better quality I'm sure.

I loved The Magic Faraway Tree too, I was going to buy it again recently until I read the back and saw the names had been changed. Might have shouted 'nooooo, it's Dick and Fanny!' quite loud in The Works Blush

I have got totally carried away with my love of Lego again. Got myself this after christmas and begrudgingly let ds and his mates play with it. took a nice 4 evenings drinking g and t and watching trashy tv to make.

Then took major delight in making him a Lego cake for his birthday. I'm all about the Lego.

I also got ds1 this for his birthday and I swear I take more pleasure than him at playing minifigures with him..And he really loves it so that is really saying something.

Does anyone remember quints? I was googling them the other day, you can't buy them anymore. I had a boy/girl set with a row of bottles so they could all be fed at the same time.

Anyone remember flower fairies. We packing at the moment and we found mine. Forgotten how much i loved them and spent a happy thirty minutes putting their costumes on. Dh dared to suggest i donated them to the charity shop. We filling charity bags etc with dvd, books etc at moment which we drop off when we have too many. I suggested he donated his britains farm machines. He packed my flower fairies without another word. (Im pregnant so hopefully dc can enjoy both). Photos taken from internet as my fairies are now packed! Grin

Probably a bit weird but marbles were huge when I was in primary school - very competitive playing went on every play time. Just the feel of marbles in my hand and the sound of them clinking together sends me back to those happy free childhood days Smile

Londonrach - I have just bought some flower fairies for nostalgia. Love them! You should keep hold of them, they are worth a bit now.

I still have my Huggy Bear too!
