uare please listen to me and everyone else that has been telling you. Late vacuum terminations as you put it do not exist in this country, your labour is induced. Pictures that you refer too showing that are old/from back street abortionists and sadly 3rd world countries where it is the only option. Also people from 1st world countries having to travel for cheap procedures where it is illegal in their own country.

Just think of the storyline in dirty dancing, why would you want to go back to that and people losing their lives and fertility?

GruntledOne · 05/02/2016 23:14

Uare, it is you who are denying what a 12 week foetus looks like. It is utterly irrelevant that full term babies are not born "the same size and length and weight and colour". That is because they are born after 9 months' growth, and is dependent on a multitude of factors including heredity, maternal nutrition and maternal health. But at 12 weeks those factors will have had very little impact on the baby's development. It is quite simply biological fact that, at 12 weeks, the foetus has not developed skin of that thickness or opaqueness and the skin will be much darker, the eyelids will be fused shut, the bones will be almost non-existent and the limbs will considerably less defined - and that doesn't change no matter how quickly the foetus develops or how large it is.

The fact that you keep bleating this stuff about full term babies being different makes me think of you in terms of someone who is sticking their fingers in their ears, closing their eyes and loudly singing "La la la" in order to avoid taking in any inconvenient facts.

Dawndonnaagain · 06/02/2016 08:12

I don't really believe that people would choose to have a 4d scan before an abortion which isn't for medical reasons unless they are not capable of human emotions like guilt. So a woman choosing to have an abortion should feel guilty. Now we get to the crux of your argument.

Lots of insults and name calling and swearing and denying what a 12 week old baby really looks like

Erm, you're the one denying what a 12 week old foetus really looks like. Hmm

Error404UserNotFound · 06/02/2016 08:52

So a woman choosing to have an abortion should feel guilty.

Yup, whatever your choice it should be viewed as a punishment for daring to have sex for any reason other than procreation.

Should there be a uniform too so that these women can be easily identified? Sackcloth and ashes maybe?

OvariesBeforeBrovaries · 06/02/2016 08:59

According to Google, a 12 week old baby looks like this.

We're talking about a 12-week foetus.

You really are embarrassing yourself.

KacieB · 06/02/2016 09:26

Actually that Google search IS shocking.

This is 14 weeks. FOURTEEN.

Amazing how much they grow!

Error I was pointing out the stupidity of the poster I was quoting. I am 100% Pro Choice, no caveats.

Error404UserNotFound · 06/02/2016 09:51

I know Dawn, I was agreeing with you :)

Dawndonnaagain · 06/02/2016 10:10

Sorry Error. Perhaps I should go get a bit more sleep! Grin

Error404UserNotFound · 06/02/2016 11:06

Chance would be a fine thing! About to take three DC to the supermarket because I apparently hate myself Confused

UareWhatUeat · 06/02/2016 11:14

We all know what a 12 week old baby who is alive looks like.

Don't be silly

Not everyone knows what a 12 week old baby that has passed looks like

And on the miscarriage website people refer to their lost babies as babies not a foetus

UareWhatUeat · 06/02/2016 11:18

I mentioned a 4d scan as someone said they would want to see their aborted baby

No one wants to see a baby they are about to abort obviously. That's why abortion clinics don't offer 4d scans

I can understand that no one wants to see pics of the baby after or before it's been aborted that why I asked those who had had an abortion not to look

KittyandTeal · 06/02/2016 11:25

Ffs you are NOT listening to people.

Really? Obviously no one wants to see the baby they were about to abort.

I DID! But again you are ignoring my situation because it doesn't fit nicely into the 'evil woman walks into abortion clinic to get rid of annoying, unwanted, innocent baby'

Yes many wouldn't want to see but you are ignoring the tricky ones of us that have complicated situations because you don't know what to say!

Should I have been allowed an abortion at 22+2? If so why? If not why?

twofingerstoGideon · 06/02/2016 11:26

What is wrong with you, Uare? Someone upthread said they did have a scan of the baby they were about to abort. Why don't you park your agenda for a while and RTFT? Your repeated and erroneous assertions are coming across as ridiculous, particularly as you seem intent on ignoring other people's comments. Some posters have come on the thread to share their own personal experiences and your only response is to post the same old goady shit.

UareWhatUeat · 06/02/2016 11:28

Are the babies on lost innocents disgusting?

If your read the thread people though that picture was being called disgusting but that's close to what they look like

Just because posters have had abortions and are defending it doesn't mean it's right

We all know deep down its not right but please carry on with silly arguments

Can someone google what an orange looks like and post that too as its not like I see one of them everyday Grin

UareWhatUeat · 06/02/2016 11:29

That person had a scan cos she went on to have a medical abortion

4d scans are private they aren't offered by abortion clinics

Can you read?

KittyandTeal · 06/02/2016 11:31

You've still not answered my questions

TooOldForGlitter · 06/02/2016 11:35

Don't tell me what I know "deep down" thanks. There is nothing, at all, wrong with women having access to safe abortion whenever they need it.

KacieB · 06/02/2016 11:35

Kitty - you've helped me before now and like others I'm deeply sorry for your loss. I really don't think Uare is here for a sincere chat though so please don't get too wound up Thanks

OvariesBeforeBrovaries · 06/02/2016 11:36

Not everyone knows what a 12 week old baby that has passed looks like

Medically, scientifically, realistically, it is a foetus. That's the terminology used to distinguish a 12-week foetus from a 12-week old baby. You're trying to deny science now, which would be hilarious if it wasn't so humiliating for you.

We all know deep down its not right but please carry on with silly arguments

There's this awesome new thing, it's called "not talking on everyone else's behalf because it makes you sound like a cunt". You might want to try it at some point.

I know that legal, safe access to abortion is right. I know that for many, many women, abortion is right.

And I say this as someone who hasn't had an abortion, and chose against abortion when facing unplanned pregnancy.

UareWhatUeat · 06/02/2016 11:37

If abortion is no big deal then why does any one bother with birth control?
Why don't we all just go get abortions every time we get pregnant?
Why use the morning after and not just go have an abortion instead?

Because it's wrong.

My view won't stop people doing it and I know that, but to the people defending abortion. Come on you are only lying to yourself at the end of the day

All the excuses and silly arguments in the world don't excuse the fact that you could of had the baby and had it adopted

If you had an abortion then you chose not to do that

Kacie you're right, I know that. I'm actually less wound up than I sound I think I just want people to see the complexities of a situation.

I am being totally ignored though so I give up. There's no cure for stupid.

I'm glad I could help btw 💐
