I am probably over thinking it! Just seems an odd phrase for a kids tshirt.

I object to slogans altogether think they are tacky.

Well, when they're not vulgar.

hefzi I'm Grin at the lobster Tshirt.

If it's about running free and untroubled by life's concerns; it shouldn't say let's run away. It's a different message entirely.

It's awful. It should be discontinued.

Total overreaction. It's embarrassing to read.

If your child is that impressionable they would do every single thing they read or saw then it's your responsibility to teach them differently.

I watched Peter Pan as a child, I didn't jump out the window thinking I could fly.

It doesn't even register in comparison with "Boys are stupid. Throw rocks at them". Anyone remember that little gem from (I think) Primark?

I certainly would not buy this for my child but if others want to it's up to them I would frown on them a bit though I have to admit

Surely it's the responsibility of the parent to ensure that the wearer of this Tshirt doesn't think let's run away from home, but let's run free and have an adventure...

Are you objecting because you worry your child will actually run away? If so i think you are greatly underestimating your children to be so easily influenced by a Tshirt. If a child runs away it won't be because of this top!!

Paper Towns is a 12A. The way some of you react you would make it as 18.

I thought it was David and Golliath?

It doesn't make sense.

How are we supposed to decipher who the child is asking?

Friend
Dog
Some pervert on the Internet?

Stupid slogan.

Reminds me of the pic I took on a visit to an old mill/workhouse last summer...

Worst sign ever?

I don't think you're supposed to think that hard about it.

Well why the big clutch of pearls mistress.

It's just a slogan of utter bollocks.

The worst slogan I saw on T shirts for young girls was in Romania:

Love is a name
Sex is a game
Forget the name
And play the game.

ShockShockShock

I have no idea Farrow. My pearls are unclutched. :o

Sorry I didn't mean your pearls per se!

Report

I think we may agree with each other Farrow.

It's a silly slogan that doesn't really mean anything. It's not supposed to send any messages.
