To really want to call the police?

Lying in bed with my baby and partner. All I can hear is a bunch of loud "ghetto" sounding people. I tried to ignore it but THEN I hear the conversation turn to stabbing. One guy is telling the others where best to stab a man. Another man asking for further advice on how to stab some guy. I looked out the window because I'm nosey. 10+ guys smoking weed in tiny garden.

My partner has told me to leave it, I want to call the police because their noise and conversation is passing me off. IT'S A SUNDAY FFS. Also how can anyone be so dumb as to talk about criminal activities so bloody loudly?

On the upside if anybody near by does get stabbed you can give the police an idea of where to look.

I don't even think they live in that particular house as I've never seen them around before. Plus, I'm in London so even if someone were to get stabbed it's unlikely to have been these guys.

Is talk of stabbing only allowed Mon-Sat then?

Ring 101, not a bad idea, as the above poster says, it would give the police an idea of where to start, should there be a random stabbing in the area.

And you looked from the window and saw them smoking weed? I suggest you haven't got a clue what they were smoking, as its the smell not the vision that indicates what they are smoking.

Do ring the police though and complain your neighbours don't speak rp, then report back on how long the operator laughed for.

I'm pretty common myself actually but they do sound really ghetto, plus they didn't see me! And my eyes saw they were smoking, my nose informed me it was weed. Goodness.

I'm 3 floors up, it's dark so they can't see me. Smells travel.

I'd call 101 and ask. I live somewhere where the police may well come out depend g on how busy they were but I know that might not be the case in a city.

I wouldn't give a shit if the 101 operater wasn't interested. I'd have called with the best of intentions and if it wasn't the right thing to do then so be it.

Well it sounds as if it has escalated in a terrible way if they have moved on from taking drugs and stabbing to rapping.

I could have tolerated it if it was just weed and talks of stabbing, but I draw the line at rapping. Ghetto is Ghetto. You can rap and not be Ghetto, but these people are. You can hear it in their voice, their words etc. They look like they are in their 20's as well, surely they are a bit old for all this? I'm so judgmental.

Yes, the stabbing thing is a bit unsettling but the rest of it is just you being a snob. Not everyone in this world follows the Christian religion.

I do think you need to calm down though. If they are truly being a nuisance, then call 101 to complain re the noise etc.

Haha I was joking about the Christian comment, I'm atheist. They were just passing me off. They've buggered off inside now although I can still hear them. And yes I am a snob, a common snob. Is it really that abnormal to look down on certain people?
