About dh's ExW

Gave birth to dd1 last week. Dh ExW was one of my visitors. She brought the dsc to see me and stayed with them, brought me flowers and a card etc. Lovely.
Now a few people are saying this is weird? I didn't even think anything of it at the time!

She sounds a lovely ex and why shouldn't you have a good relationship with her? IME kids from families like yours deal really well with relationships in the future so congratulations, you're setting up your kids to have happy futures. (Congratulations on your new baby too!)

I think it's lovely. We've had our ups and downs with DHs ex but now get on and I'm friends with her on Facebook.

her mum and sister came in to see me at home after I'd given birth once. (Well, not see me, see the baby!) They had come to pick up DSC, I thought it was nice that they showed an interest in our children, after all theyay not be related but they are DSCs siblings.
