Am I missing some thing? ? What is it with this pie face game - I just don't get it. We went to some friends today and neither of my kids or us would go near it. What is fun about getting cream in your face. Seems to have been a big seller this Xmas loads of videos of families getting splatted on my fb but really don't get it .

Cards Against Humanity is a grown up game, taken with drink preferably :-)

ZanyMobster · 26/12/2015 23:41

Most definitely a grown up game and definitely not for everyone!

iminshock · 26/12/2015 23:43

Each to their own.
I hate it

Sparklingbrook · 26/12/2015 23:47

I have never played CAH but know I wouldn't like it. Can see how it would appeal to teens reading some of the blurb.

ZanyMobster · 26/12/2015 23:50

I would say it's more suitable for adults rather than teens as not sure they would really 'get it' but they would want to play as its rude, you really shouldn't play if easily offended.

cakedup · 26/12/2015 23:50

I just realised why our one was so shit, it's because we got another version called 'Splat' which just doesn't work. Hopefully we can get a refund.

Sparklingbrook · 26/12/2015 23:52

YY teens tend to like stuff that's rude and offensive. Grin I am sure that's why DS1 wants it.

Sallystyle · 26/12/2015 23:52

Can't beat looping louie!

And rapidough. No one gets messy.

cowssheephens · 26/12/2015 23:55

We have played with it several times yesterday and today! Watching grandad getting cream on his face have had the grandchildren in tears laughing. Love it.

ZanyMobster · 27/12/2015 00:01

TBH it's actually not appropriate for ANYONE but very funny if you like that sort of thing.

KaraokeQueenOfTheNorth · 27/12/2015 00:02

Pie face here too, so much fun on Christmas Day, had us all in hysterics, really good fun. There isn't really anything to "get" - it's a simple game that might result in getting splattered with whipped cream or a wet sponge. (Or a few other things we tried, bread and jam was fun!!!)

Was a genuinely lovely time spent togethers all laughing and playing, we are a very game-y family, we love playing games together and we love not taking life too seriously so it's perfect for us.

Each to their own!

ALemonyPea · 27/12/2015 00:15

Bread and jam! Genius!

RabbitDeNiro · 27/12/2015 07:41

The YouTube video of a young lad and his grandfather playing Pie Face is brilliant and must have encouraged so many sales. I can't think of any other game which has granddad rolling on the floor in hysterics!

Sirzy · 27/12/2015 07:45

It's not my idea of fun but each to their own.

diddl · 27/12/2015 09:32

Wouldn't be my thing either, which is OK, as none of those who find it hilarious would be forcing others to join in or calling them "boring" or "no sense of humour" or anything, would they?
