to think the name of Prince George's nursery shouldn't have been disclosed?

An article in the news today says that Prince George will be starting nursery in January and gives the name and location of the nursery.

Now I know everybody knew where Prince William and Harry went to school/uni but we are living in different times. This is a massive security risk isn't it? Surely the security at the nursery won't be as high as at their home on a private estate?

I'm really quite surprised that this information has been published.

As a previous poster said Shock at £33 a day!! Do they qualify for a partially free place now he is two?!

On a more serious note, it does bug me when prices like this for a days nursery are bandied around as joe public wonders what the heck patents are complaining about.

SummerNights1986 · 20/12/2015 10:26

I feel a bit sorry for George saying it but i'd be so pissed off now if one of mine were already registered/settled at that nursery.

I wouldn't want to have to dodge the press every day and definitely wouldn't feel comfortable leaving my dc there with the added security risk.

I bet there are plenty of idiots in the region clapping their hands and clamouring for a place though!

"Fawning to a celebrity"?

Try "expressing grief at the loss of someone people felt a personal connection to."

Or is that just insufficiently rude snd patronising?

Thanks for making my point though.

"expressing grief at the loss of someone people felt a personal connection to."

I think the point was that it wasn't 'grief' it was a display of mass emotional incontinence. To such an extent that these ghouls, whipped up by tabloid hysteria demanded that the children of the dead woman they were 'grieving' were paraded in front of them whilst they wept and wailed and acted out their supposed loss.

To describe this as grief is an insult.

derxa · 20/12/2015 18:41

demanded that the children of the dead woman they were 'grieving' were paraded in front of them whilst they wept and wailed I'd forgotten that. It was terrible.

CaveMum · 20/12/2015 21:56

Suffolk could be. Is the nursery in a horsey town?

Wagglebees · 20/12/2015 22:33

I don't understand why anyone is interested to the point they'd seek out information about them.

I've had to sit in the middle of a conversation today about that photo they released a few days ago. A half an hour discussion about it. The clothes the baby had one as a big focus. Why? I just don't get it.

Harry and William seem decent and nice so nothing against them but, you know,

Wagglebees · 20/12/2015 22:35

*was a big focus

purplehazed · 20/12/2015 22:48

I resent the amount of money spent on this families security. It's time we got rid.

CarlaJones · 20/12/2015 22:52

Pp said it's a preschool rather than daycare, so £33 might be eg. 9 - 1 rather than 8 - 6.

Wagglebees · 20/12/2015 23:00

Actually just remembered that one of the people gushing over Kate and Wills today, says she 'hates the royal family'. So clearly they don't count as the royal family. 🤔 Do a lot of those who are very interested in them feel that way? And I wonder why?

Justbumping · 30/12/2015 15:30

I would hate it if my dcs were already at that nursery. I would be pulling them out pretty sharpish.

EachandEveryone · 06/01/2016 21:24

The press seemed to stay away today?
