To ask for a middle name for Arabella at the eleventh hour?

Bad form I know, to post this on AIBU. However our baby is almost at the age limit for having her name registered and we've not given any thought to a middle name. My brain isn't working and she will want milk shortly so if any of you can suggest a name so we can get this form filled out I will be grateful

One syllable is probably best (I suspect your husband doesn't do long names) Rose, Grace, Kate, May or Joy.

Jane is too 70s.

If you did want something longer how about Arabella Sophia? I also like Elizabeth and Victoria

I'm flabbergasted you would choose a name your husband hates. How come??
If he prefers classic names, I would drop the 'ara' bit and just go with bella.

I see a couple of people have asked the same question as you arethere about picking a name DH hates. It was difficult because neither of us could think of a name we both liked and he suggested using it in the end. We had both suggested various names the other didn't warm too. I probably exaggerated when I said he hated it, we just struggled to find an alternative.

Anyway that's why DH is getting to choose the second name.
