If Trump wins, I mean.

Please?

I'll just sit in a little stair cupboard ala Harry Potter and not make much noise or bother.

Who'd have me?

:o

I will bring all the things!

I can't stand Rafael "Ted" Cruz. His face looks like a smug Precious Moments doll.

If you bring me some of those street pretzels that are as big as an adults head I'll budge up for you.
You might get fed up of our overly-affectionate, space-invading bear of a cat though. He'll take up residence on your knee and not move.

CheerfulYank · 14/11/2015 18:04

Would you like a cinnamon sugar one with cream cheese frosting in a little pot for dipping, or the plain kind with the little pot of "cheese"?

Both? Neither? I aim to please!

Acrossthepond, ds2 can't wait! He's especially looking forward to you watching Despicable Me 2 with him twenty times in a row.

MetallicBeige · 14/11/2015 18:08

All the pretzels, ALL.

Little pot of frosting for dipping?! When are you arriving? Grin

HoneyDragon · 14/11/2015 18:13

If our kids and dogs share I reckon I can get you all in.

I reckon the dogs would get us an Asbo in a week though.....

CheerfulYank · 14/11/2015 18:17

My dog is an asshole, it's true. Easily bribed into short bursts of decent behavior, though!

You can stay with me. I've restocked the drinks cabinet and am making club clovers tonight. Will I put a glass out for you?

missymayhemsmum · 14/11/2015 18:19

You'll be v welcome. You can join us in shaking our heads in disgust at Cameron as he cosies up. they deserve each other

IHaveBrilloHair · 14/11/2015 18:25

You can live with me, I'll even cook you American food!

Shirtsleeves · 14/11/2015 18:25

Only if you bring a large amount of Reese's peanut butter cups with you.

londonrach · 14/11/2015 18:27

I always found the americans to be very friendly and very helpful to two young people travelling across your country, so of course you welcome in our small 2 bed rented flat. Just make sure you set fire to the hersheys. You call that chocolate! (Dh and i bought a selection in excitement when in usa and seriously after one bite on each the rest went in the bin. Whats wrong with your taste buds...). Ive asked dh re the trump situatiom and he conformed...trump will not will. Hope that cheers you up op as dh is always right.... Grin.

londonrach · 14/11/2015 18:28

Confirmed!

IHaveBrilloHair · 14/11/2015 18:31

Though I do have four arsehole cats and an Emo childer, but I'll just push them down a drain, lock them in a cupboard get them to go out permanently.

Bazza2 · 14/11/2015 18:32

cheerful bring me Twizzles and one of the cinnamon pretzels, and you can come and live in my shed and drink my sloe gin. Dog, DH and all DC welcome (especially Junebugs) as long as you don't mind squeezing.

Oh god I really want cream cheese frosting in a pot so I can dip things in it.

londonrach · 14/11/2015 19:09

Remembers....candy corn...(op can this be imported..)

BigChocFrenzy · 14/11/2015 19:24

I've a couple of spare rooms and a really nice garden with lovely river walks for dog and sprogs.

BUT I've just been reading about the other Republican candidates - and they all make Trump look sane:
They are all eager to shoot down Russian planes over Syria, whereas Trump would let Putin bomb ISIS to hell - sounds a good idea atm.

I'd love to vote for Gibbs of NCIS (or just love to love him ! Grin )
Jed Bartlett of West Wing would also be a fantastic president I'd envy.
The US has so much talent, why do you end up with the Battle of the Loopy Lemons ?

wtffgs · 14/11/2015 19:29

Aww! I luffs Americans. Mind, you'd have to sleep in the garage and we have a demented moggy who shits everywhere.... not really selling this, am I? Still sounds better than Trump America!

wtffgs · 14/11/2015 19:31

DD says if you bring a Menchies franchises deal with you we'll let you sleep in the front room!

ifyoulikepinacolada · 14/11/2015 20:16

Happy to donate a spare room in exchange for a rotating selection of peanut butter and chocolate based junk food. You guys have enough to try a new one like every week right?!

I can provide yoga lessons to limit the peanut butter and chocolate based junk food damage, an encyclopaedic knowledge of the london underground, and the fruits of my compulsive book-buying and speed-reading habits. And earplugs, because I play the drums. Any good?

AcrossthePond55 · 14/11/2015 21:18

Acrossthepond, ds2 can't wait! He's especially looking forward to you watching Despicable Me 2 with him twenty times in a row.

Countess, how much alcohol will customs let me bring in? Grin

Senpai · 14/11/2015 21:32

If Trump seriously runs for the Republican party, I think the US is going to have a landslide Democratic win all around. They're not going to let him if they want their party to survive. It's already dying a slow death, as its voters die off they'll need to start catering towards more balanced policies.

Want2bSupermum · 14/11/2015 21:44

Don't know about a landslide for the Democrats. One of the big draws of Trump is his anti war stance. The other big draw is his no tax returns for 'low' income people (people earning $50k a year which is $100k for a couple). It's at least $40 to Efile a tax return for federal and state. Turbotax is $80 to file a return. Then there is the time to actually put the return together including W2 forms etc. Its a huge saving for an awful lot of people, many of whom are republican voters.

There is also a lot of distrust over HC and her judgement of thinking it acceptable to use only a private server for work purposes. The most sensitive data that I have is payroll information and it would never even cross my mind to store or transmit that information through any other network apart from a work one. We don't have rules saying we can't as we can use USB sticks and CDs but I just would never consider it an option based on the sensitive nature of the content. Government files? Not a chance in hell would I put such data on a private server.

CheerfulYank · 14/11/2015 23:28

The childer can stay, Brillo. We like the same TV shows. :o
