Bit of a newbie to Dr Who but started watching on Netflix about 3 weeks ago and am on series 4. There's definitely something about David Tennant and there's a running joke about companions, Captain Jack, etc. fancying him but I can't work out if he's actually attractive. AIBU???

He isn't.

SaucyJack · 06/11/2015 00:21

There's two things about DT. His left nostril, and his right.

Not my cup of tea.

Discopanda · 06/11/2015 00:22

His nostrils do go into overdrive when he gets angry...

polyhymnia · 06/11/2015 00:22

Attractive, IMO.

Gruntfuttock · 06/11/2015 00:22

No, he isn't even slightly attractive.

Fatmomma99 · 06/11/2015 00:23

lots of teeth.

but an amazing actor!. I fancy him for that, but not physically!

Thereshegoesagain · 06/11/2015 00:23

Those brown eyes.
Oh yes.

GladysTheGolem · 06/11/2015 00:24

No.
He does shouting and shaking instead of acting.

Bambambini · 06/11/2015 00:24

Not to me but I haven't really seen him in that much. He might have a great screen presence.

MissStressBum · 06/11/2015 00:26

If you're not sure whether you find him attractive then you probably mega fancy him but feel slightly ashamed and therefore can't consciously acknowledge it :) ha!

Or ... he's very confident for such a peculiar appearing man which can grab the old attention!

All I know is - I lost interest in Dr Who once he left!

ThatsHowYouGetAnts · 06/11/2015 00:29

I never liked him at all until I watched Who, then I did an about-face. I don't think he's very physically attractive, but he's got a lot of presence and he's really likeable.

Behooven · 06/11/2015 00:30

Nope, not for me.

CainInThePunting · 06/11/2015 00:30

I'd go as far as to say he is asexual.
No offence to the poor bloke, I'm sure he is great in Dr Who, I just can't watch that shit it.

MinesAPintOfTea · 06/11/2015 00:32

Very. Must rewatch his era in next year's break...

BrideOfWankenstein · 06/11/2015 00:38

DW is on netflix? Need to pay for It.
David Tennant is not attractive, but I love his acting.

bialystockandbloom · 06/11/2015 00:40

Yes he damn well bloody IS.

HTH.

SinisterBumFacedCat · 06/11/2015 00:43

He probably is, but for some reason I can't get past the feeling that he might be a bit of a knob. Confused

bialystockandbloom · 06/11/2015 00:45

You need to see him in Casanova (was on bbc3 years ago, before DW). The swoonsomeness (yes that is a word) takes you by surprise. And as the Doctor he was very special.

nocoolnamesleft · 06/11/2015 00:54

I'm not sure that he's good looking. But he IS attractive. Not sure if that's because I've only seen him playing intelligent parts, and that is something of an aphrodisiac.

Oh, and i don't know about his screen presence, but his stage presence is swoon-worthy.

Discopanda · 06/11/2015 00:57

He is definitely more attractive than Matt Smith and I don't get people who find Benedict Cumberbatch attractive at all because he, quite frankly, looks like a llama.

Tapirs · 06/11/2015 01:01

Attractive eyes and smile but his mouth's a bit thin and weird when he's not smiling.

Elllicam · 06/11/2015 01:01

I quite liked him as the Doctor but I've seen him in other things and not been particularly fussed.

howtorebuild · 06/11/2015 01:03

No, not my type.

UnderTheGreenwoodTree · 06/11/2015 01:09

Yeah - Casanova. I was watching the first episode, and I wondered why on earth cast him as Casanova, and Rupert double-barrel as the nasty, when Rupert is so, so lovely.

By the end of the episode, I kind of got it. I think it's his energy. He has something about him.

UnderTheGreenwoodTree · 06/11/2015 01:12

You have to watch Blackpool to really get it too.
