OMG...Minty Fresh!

AIBU to want to strangle my children?!

So...I'd just put my boys to bed, went into the bathroom and one of them had managed to dribble toothpaste on the floor. So, I scooped up some toilet roll, wiped it up and then went for a wee.

(Can you see where this is going?!)

Anyway the fireworks outside the window were amazing so my mind wandered to when I was a little girl and the fireworks I saw...blah blah blah went my mind...i finished my wee, washed my hands and then it happened! Burning searing minty fresh pain! Yes, I had used the toothpaste sodden toilet paper...OMG the pain! And what did my DH do when I staggered downstairs the stairs....he bent over double and giggled at me!

So, would AIBU to want to wake my boys up and strangle them?!

that had to hurt i got toothpaste in my eye once 1 of the kids got it on a towel thought i was going blind. Minty foof must be zingy Grin

We have a member who used whitening toothpaste to try to bleach her bum hole. She regretted it - it went blue!

Well beg my pardon for thinking I could share, what I thought was a funny moment on here.

It is original for me because I've never done it before and will hopefully never do it again.

And if you knew what it was before you read it, why bother to read it?

I remember my poor dad coming home from work once and rubbing fiery jack (it was called something like that) on his aching muscles. He went to the loo without washing his hands! He was almost crying with the pain and we were crying with laughter. He laughs about it now though.

You have my sympathy. I did something similar with deep heat. Applied it to my bum before the shower, and it managed to dribble down and around to my lady parts. Lordy, the burn...

Surely you would have disposed of the toilet paper first though? So you were still holding it when you went for a wee? I agree with surlycue, this gets repeated often.

No, no, you'd keep it in your hand even while undoing your zipper and pulling your trousers and pants down. That wouldnt be awkward or noticeable at all. Confused

Concerned for who? What harm does me imagining you having a wee do? Confused anyway i was thinking of myself wiping the floor and then holding onto (Just why?) the dirty loo roll while i undid my zipper, pulled my jeans and knickers down all while having the loo roll in my hand! Confused common sense says it would get in the way and you'd remember you were holding it and bin it. Or throw it in the toilet
