To go back on getting a dog?

Been debating with big bastard DH lately about getting a dog. I agreed that he could get one but I had mH doubts it was the right choice. Today I saw one pulling an annoying expression and it reminded me how frustrating and hard work yang yangs can be. AIBU to go back on it now even though he'd dead excited about looking for a puppy?

No it was crossing a road a stretched its mouth back. It just pissed me off a bit

It was panting and then stretched its mouth back as if it was scared and then carried on panting again looking really smug.
