Wedding gift - they ask for currency, can i jsut give then a huge champage bottle?

No time to dick about with foreign exchange and they are too old to be given cash IMO
I have met bride once, H knows groom. WEedding ( evening do only Angry ) an hours drive away etc

will huge champers thing do"?

lisel Three dozen picture frames is exactly what I want 'hanging' around and after i've done that job, a bottle of champers will go down nicely thank you very much! Wink

Seriously, I bloody knew someone was going to come on and say exactly that. Which is fair enough, but I think three dozen is probably more than most people would have or want. I fully realise some individuals have a great many photos and/or an insatiable appetite for bubbly plus the room for both of the above though, and would never wish to stand in their way...

Well of course three dozen in the cellar would be splendid but I can only drink half a bottle so one would suffice for one evening in my case!

Anyway, we still haven't found out which gift brenda took last night. Come on, spill!

well oddly, in the end, H awoke like a Kraken that morning and out of the blue just said ' lets get then a JL voucher for £60'.

I was like
