I swear, if that vile little shit does well in Strictly, I am cancelling my TV license.

Who is with me?

And should I start one of those petition things?

OP posts:
MNetter15 · 29/09/2015 11:31

I completely agree with you.

I would be completely devastated if my husband were to place his hand on my bum, if we were being photographed together. Not that he would do that to me anyway, because my husband respects me and I'm not just some piece of meat that he owns, to parade on a red carpet.

Sparklingbrook · 29/09/2015 11:33

DH is the only person allowed to put his hand on my bum. Confused

Booyaka · 29/09/2015 11:56

He is howlingly sexist. When you listen to the way he talks about Emily as his silly little woman. I get the feeling that she is okay with this now because she's very young. I can't really see it working when she's in her late 30s juggling a career with a family and he still wants his pipe and slippers and to boast about how he's the one who wears the trousers.

I think it's sad sometimes, because the women who seem to like him genuinely do appear to think that it is exceptional for a father to love his children, be interested in them and want to spend time with them. I think it's very sad that's not normal for a lot of people.

2rebecca · 29/09/2015 13:48

I'm not anti Andre but the hand on the bum thing is possessive and creepy. It's a shame a doctor doesn't value herself more highly.
I doubt she'll be working for the NHS though.

Mindysgotswag · 29/09/2015 23:25

He can put his hand on my bum anytime...within reason!

Publicly? That's just tacky.

Time and a place, Peter. Time and a place.....

RonaldMcDonald · 29/09/2015 23:53

In the Daily Mail photographs he looks like an orange Albert Steptoe

LilyTucker · 30/09/2015 18:31

Ronald your summary below was spot on.

MaryPoppinsPenguins · 30/09/2015 19:16

I've met him a few times through work and he was fairly vile actually.... And horrible to KP.

Elendon · 30/09/2015 19:36

I'm so with you OP, though I have to say I thought DoD was actually really good - even if he has the most boring voice in all of Ireland, even more boring than the priest in Father Ted's Christmas special.

I want Anita to win.

Elendon · 30/09/2015 19:38

Orange Albert Steptoe Grin.

Booyaka · 02/10/2015 12:00

There's a report in the papers today saying the Strictly staff think he's the vainest contest they've ever had. He spends so long looking in the mirror they joke he has a twin. Apparently he spends longer in the make up chair than his female partner.

Fanofspam · 02/10/2015 12:14

I love a man putting his hand on my bum.

Emily looks like such an insipid little creature, a bit like Belle off Emmerdale.

howtorebuild · 02/10/2015 12:28

I too have hunger sympathy for Emily and his children. Like the Beckham's he pimps out his children, when others keep their children private and get pap pictures pixilated. Andre even thinks les of two children than the youngest, he won't use the baby for cash and uses the older children for cash, vile behaviour. He couldn't be bothered to get an appropriate carer during contact for Harvey despite pimping out the child in his music.

Booyaka · 02/10/2015 12:35

Yep. Unconditional. Except for the condition that I will neither fund an appropriate carer nor allow those employed by your mother into my home. So I guess that means I'm never going to see you then. Oh well, I still love you unconditionally. I must do, it said so on my album (Available B&M Bargains 59p).

Scremersford · 02/10/2015 21:40

FanofSpam Emily looks like such an insipid little creature, a bit like Belle off Emmerdale.

Probably the effect of being in a relationship with a mature Peter Andre at such a young age.

eedon · 03/10/2015 18:36

Why is this guy allowed to be criticised but the Rita ora and posh spice ones got deleted and they were far more tame?

Sparklingbrook · 03/10/2015 18:37

Were Rita Ora and VB in danger of winning Strictly?

Booyaka · 03/10/2015 19:16

eedon, I suspect because Rita Ora and Posh don't really cash in on their private lives or sell it for public exposure to anywhere near the extent Peter Andre does. I think when you cash in on your private life, your kids; your wedding; your marriage, your divorce; family members health; bereavements to the extent PA does, then you have essentially done a deal with the devil. You can't really complain when people discuss something that you are doing your damn best to drum up prurient interest in it:

thehypocritesoaf · 03/10/2015 21:23

Coz Mumsnet HQ agree this guy is a major twunt?

eedon · 04/10/2015 07:51

Posh and Rita sell almost everything. I smell a wiff of sexism.

Sparklingbrook · 04/10/2015 07:53

Best take it up with MNHQ if it worries you.

ilovesooty · 04/10/2015 08:00

The Rita Ora thread was really unpleasant and I seem to remember was started by either a GF or a PBP.

I'm sure eedon that Sparkling is right in that you're perfectly free to take the matter up with MNHQ if you'd like clarity on the issue.

Scremersford · 04/10/2015 08:26

Its well known that certain "stars"'s large and powerful publicity machines behind them, who are being promoted in a certain way, clamp down on any dissent amongst the mere minions who dare to gossip about them in a less than positive light. Even though the rest of their private life is promoted to help build up their image. Theres a lot of investment money at stake and that funds a presence to monitor social media outlets. It doesn't just happen on this website with this "star".

Other stars have a habit of getting their lawyers to send threatening letters should websites publish anything negative about them. Even though their children are now benefitting from their parents' fame and getting work that they wouldn't have a hope in hell of gaining otherwise.

eedon · 04/10/2015 08:30

Does posh really care enough to get a thread deleted that at most a few 100 will read?

Posh thread was deleted as she's a mum Confused

Sparklingbrook · 04/10/2015 08:33

I have no idea of what VB cares about. -- other than Brand Beckham and self promotion.
